Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area.

 We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.

Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).

We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.

Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).

Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.

Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. 

Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).

Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.

You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).

Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.

Masabaje is a clothing optional space. 

We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Sagebrush Hollow

This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset

But it is so worth it.

Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. 

If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. 

Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area.

The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask!

We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know.

Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet.

We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks.

Swiftwater Farm Entiat WA

Two plus acres located on the beautiful Entiat River, this small hobby farm has a large open area for relaxing, playing volleyball, gathering around the bon fire pit, reading in the hammock, playing on the kids' toy, or enjoying the Entiat River at the private beach. This is the perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast with nearby hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, biking, or just relaxing on site. Have the privacy of country living, with close access to the Entiat Ranger District with extensive trails, or the Columbia River, Lake Chelan, and the Wenatchee River. You will share the property with the owner and activities must be family friendly.  Camper van and tent friendly.  Must be fully self-contained except delicious well water is available.  The top of the private dirt driveway is steep.  There is a friendly Saint Bernard dog, a goat, and cat on site.

Farm fresh milk, eggs, fruit, veggies, to go wood bundles, homemade bread and treats may be available for purchase depending on the season. Goat petting may be available depending on the goats' mood. :-)  

If homesteading interests you, farm tours of multiple different small family homesteads are possible with proper notice. Come enjoy the country and meet our close-knit community.

R & R Glamping/Leavenworth

Stay in a vintage 1966 Road Runner restored trailer just 9 miles from the town of Leavenworth and 5 miles from Plain WA. Our Road Runner is like staying in a tiny cabin out in a field with electricity, water and a comfy double bed. There is an outhouse with a compostable toilet very close by.  Enjoy the peace and quiet along with lots of space to explore. There is a creek on the property along with some walking trials and a sheltered seating area for relaxing outdoors.

Miranda's farm excited to open a new Retro cabin. We located in Naches Luxury RV Resort, Selah WA. While we have added modern touches throughout, Retro cabin is an absolutely pristine retro masterpiece, and you will love it. You will back to 50's time! The kitchen of the cabin is amazing, equipped with new Classic style appliances, you will enjoy having meals at our retro diner table. Bring your favorite vinyl records to play at our 50's record player. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish place.

Naches RV Resort located 20 min from Yakima, WA. Its brand-new resort with beautiful mountain views, clubhouse and swimming pool are still under construction. We got Tennis ball play area, kids' playground, dogs unleased running area.
 The cabin build in 2023 and its 400sft but feels spacious, we got 2 queen size beds (very comfortable). One bedroom on the main level and 2nd on the top loft (fun for kids). Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, tea pot. We use propane gas for a stove, new pots and pans for guests to use. On the porch you will find retro cooler for your coke and beers (bring ice). 
Cabin equipped with a/c/heater unit, there is Wi-Fi available. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). 
You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20).

-Naches RV Resort is in the heart of a hunter's paradise, offering big game hunting of elk, deer, and even big horn sheep, as well as birds, waterfowl.
-Some of WA State’s premier rock climbing and mountaineering destinations are within minutes of Naches RV Resort. 
-120 wineries and five American Viticulture Areas (AVA’s) provide MUCH to explore for the wine enthusiast. The Yakima Valley is home to 17,000 acres of vineyards, produces over half of Washington State’s wine grapes.
-The Yakima Greenway, which starts two miles from the Resort, provides 20 miles of paved pathway through parks, wineries and a variety of wildlife sanctuaries.
-The Yakima Valley farms over 75% of our nation’s hops, so you can be sure there are plenty of local craft beers to try!

PHILVILLE  RV AND CABINS

Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen.  The site is at the very 
end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly.   There is ample space for boat and trailer parking.  There is a 
winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience.  Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.  Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer.  The number in 2024 was over 500,000. Winthrop Wa. -a small western themed town is 30 miles away and a popular tourist destination.  One of the most popular activities here is simply sitting in the river.  We have a stunning swimming hole that is enjoyed by young and old.  there are vertical bluffs across the river that are home to 60 bird species. A paradise for birders.  Close to upland gamebird hunting on state land.   The site also has historical significance being a site along the first wagon road into the Methow valley built in the 1800's

 We offer tent camping on-site, as well as group sites. We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river.

Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!!  Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents.  Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents.  Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents.  Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here.&nbsp; We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2.&nbsp;&nbsp; There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks..  Access to the river is very nearby.  Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle.  WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties.&nbsp; Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit.&nbsp; Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns.
No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times. &nbsp;&nbsp;Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station. &nbsp;Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled.&nbsp; Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume.&nbsp; Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.&nbsp; Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon!
