Weekend Trip to Cottonwood Country Camp

This was such a wonderful space to stay in! Safe, clean, quiet. Friendly and accommodating host! Caveat to staying here: you must like dogs and your dog(s) must be very friendly with other dogs. There are 2 dogs who live on the property, both are very sweet. Obi was with us a LOT, but we are dog people, so it was a joy! Great place to see wildlife as well! Tons of American bullfrogs and red eared sliders in the pond, as well as nesting redwing blackbirds. Bring bug spray!

Weekend Trip to Lefever Holbrook Ranch

A nice farm with a beautiful view and lots of room for any size of vehicle (including towing large trailers). The team there is very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful location for visiting the area. We had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE which was just as fast as any 5G we've experienced and there are no trees blocking the northern view for Starlink. Be aware there's no privacy between camp/parking sites and it's an active farm with all the animal noises that go with it. They're not intrusive, but you'll know they're there... We'll definitely be back if/when we visit the area again.

Weekend Trip to Country Home Lane

Our stay with Kathleen was great. Her beautiful property was very conveniently located for us with just the right amount of Countryside yet close to amenities. We spent time at our Daughters Softball tournament, walked the dogs at the river and joined our family at the cutest brewery right down the road. The fenced yard and fire pit patio were perfect to come home to after a long day out and about with the dogs and kids.

Staying at the lookout was a cool experience, even in the fog. Paulette was very friendly and showed us around the farm too. We hope to come back

Great little farm and host was super nice and friendly. Unfortunate for me I didn’t check the weather so it was pouring down rain the whole time. I ended up getting a cheap Airbnb to escape the elements. I would def stay there though if it weren’t raining!

Weekend Trip to Ricks Exercise Farm

Rick made a nice RV spot, nice level gravel and a little cement pad with a picnic table on top. Would be a bit tricky to pull in (or back in) for a large trailer or RV but worked well for us. If certain country smells bother you, this spot may not be right for you, cows right across the street.

Extraordinary views and delicious produce! This was a really special place to camp, enjoy the night sky and the expanse of the Washington landscape. Paulette was an amazing host and shared much about the ranch and its workings on the farm tour. Plus amazing pickles and meat from the farm store!

Great spot and host. Joseph was easy to work with and driving instructions were easy to follow. They even have a flat place atop the property for an RV with a great view of the mountains.

Weekend Trip to Windy Basin Ranch Camp

Raychel’s little ranch was a Perfect spot for my son and I and our sprinter van and puppy! She was incredibly accommodating and friendly and had already built us all the supplies for a nice cozy campfire. We really enjoyed meeting the goat a dog and a horse and pony. It is really a special place and we are looking forward to coming back another time thanks again for everything!

Weekend Trip to Woodland Farm

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on Sarah’s property. It was quiet, peaceful, and an amazing getaway from all the noise of the city. Sarah was incredibly kind, friendly, and overall an amazing host to us. The property was gorgeous with many outdoor seating areas, and we were even greeted by her very friendly chickens in the morning. I cannot recommend this site enough, and my boyfriend and I are already planning our next visit back to this peaceful getaway.

The Valley is known as the fruit bowl of the nation. The site is located on a farm that has been in production on the Roza slope 4 miles north of Sunnyside since 1945. Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. The Yakima Valley has thousands of acres of wine grapes, hops, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and vegetables. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Several microbreweries are also accessible and within 50 miles to the west you’ll be in premier hiking in the Cascades.

Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.
