Located in Naches Heights among orchards and vineyards, Cowiche Canyon and hiking trails adjacent. (Please note: Although we are a permaculture farm, we are surrounded by both conventional and organic agriculture.) Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. The cabin (Cathaus) is part of our local agricultural history. It was built in the 1964 by my grandfather to house migrant workers during apple picking season and that is how it was used until the late 1980s. It is not fancy, but it is cozy. Filled with books from local authors (Raymond Carver, Justice William O'Douglas, etc) and on local topics including tribal and labor history. Goats, alpacas, chickens on site. Free range cats. Wineries next door. Brewery closeby. Close to town but peaceful and quiet. Host is a bioregional herbalist and can offer advice for seasonal foraging options. You are likely to see us working in the shop and on the grounds. We will also do our best to give you your privacy. Composting toilet, refrigerator, cold potable water sink available outdoors.

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. We live in a beautiful location! The main attraction is the outdoors. The large Ponderosa pines and oak trees surrounding the safari tent fill the air with a scent that some say smells like vanilla. Birds chirp, deer graze, and squirrels gather food throughout the day. Sit on the porch and watch it all happen—it truly is relaxing! I want to mention that the stargazing here is amazing! Simply press the power button on the back of the solar panel to turn off the lights for a better view of the night sky. Please turn them back on when you're finished, if you remember. Be sure to visit Goldendale Observatory. It boasts one of the largest public telescopes in the nation, and admission is free. Guest Access The property is located on 20 private wooded acres. Cabin and property were as advertised. AC unit and air filter were kept the cabin smoke free and cool (8/5 --> 8/6/26) AQI was in the 160s-170s from all the wild fire smoke. Composting toilet and wash basin outside of the cabin worked great. beds were comfy. Maria was responsive and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone who's up for this kind of cabin. No surprises. Delightful really.

I booked this spot by accident not realizing that Hipcamp had gone outside my search radius - BUT I’m glad it worked out that way. This was a last minute booking for my sister’s birthday weekend. The site felt very private even with some cars driving down the road and other booked sites in the vicinity. The cabin is absolutely ADORABLE! As a big Pendleton wool fan, I loved all the touches and wool blanket provided. The blackstone griddle/burner and firebowl were easy to use but we appreciated the written instructions and tips left by the hosts. Portapotty was very clean and we appreciated the metal trash can with lid for all the food stuffs. We did encounter some hornets once we started cooking up meat but not before then and not too many. Eating with the firebowl turned on totally kept them away. My favorite part was the hammock! Sitting there in the sun with my book made my entire summer - it was everything I didn't know I needed ❤️ This weekend getaway was 10 out of 10. My sister and I both left feeling decompressed and wishing we could’ve had a couple more days. Bonus points for this site being pet friendly as my sister was able to bring her doggie too. I would 100% come back here!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this A-frame cabin and will surely be back! What we loved: The Amenities: They had everything—coffee, utensils, a Blackstone grill, propane, and even a dog leash and bowl. The Setup: Close enough to the common area for a quick walk to the clean portapotties, sink, and games, but far enough from other sites to feel private yet welcoming. The Nights: There was a burn ban, but the provided gas fire pit is allowed and kept us cozy while we watched an unimaginable meteor shower. 🚨 Crucial GPS Tip: Do not type "Starlit Glamping" into Google Maps or Waze, or you'll end up 30 minutes out of the way. Plug in the exact coordinates from the host and turn onto Box Canyon/3 creek Road.

We had the very best time staying at Starlit Glamping. We came for the 4th of July to get away from city life. It was quiet and peaceful. We considered going to a winery or finding a river spot, but once we got there, we didn't want to leave. Will absolutely be coming back.
