Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Located in the heart of Olalla near the Colvos Passage waterway, a ferry ride from West Seattle, 20 minutes from Tacoma, and near the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Last year we upgraded to two queen sized memory foam beds!! Lovely 100% cotton sheets and cozy blankets will keep you nice and comfy on those cool nights. Two extra twin sized cots are available to rent in the "Extras" section of the listing.** You will feel very secluded on our 5 acre property. Our parcel is partially wooded and partially cleared for our flower farm. But it adjoins neighboring properties that have an additional 20+ acres that are totally wooded giving the feeling of being further away from civilization than you are. Enjoy an outdoor shower on the edge of the woods with on-demand hot water. You’ll also have your own custom made steel fire pit with fire wood available for purchase (or you can bring your own). We have an outdoor picnic table as well as a table inside the tent for late night card games. There's a lovely little bathroom with a composting toilet and a sink with running water. We allow up to 6 people (absolutely no pets) and request that parties respect the limit so that our composting toilet can keep up with the demand with minimal servicing while you are here (to maintain your privacy). Please contact us to set up a time for a guided tour if you are interested in seeing the farm up close. Please no U-pick or tours without guidance. We’d like to make sure to point out that there is convenient and dedicated parking for campers but the camping spot is about 200 feet from the parking area and over uneven ground. A cart is provided for unpacking your vehicle. Because it is very dark here at night, we would request that campers arrive before dark to safely find their way and unload with adequate light. This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring. As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one). This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay. The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming. This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring. If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind. Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

This was the perfect first camping trip for our 3 young kiddos (ages 2-6). They absolutely loved it and did not want to leave! Jodi was a lovely host, the beds were comfy & warm and the bathroom / outdoor shower were lovely. We’d definitely stay here again.

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too. Will def be back when I have the chance.

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in. No one else was around and it was beautiful. I would definitely go back

Riverbend Preserve is absolutely magical. The meadow was such a peaceful, beautiful location to camp at. We got to witness the fog rolling in late evening and early morning, elk grazing, hawks hunting...it filled our hearts with joy to see wildlife just being wild and being able to just BE. There are paths to explore, a beautiful beach on the river, and we had everything we needed at the tent for a stress-free getaway. There's such diverse vegetation from one corner of the preserve to the other and we can't wait to return to see the changes as the preserve continues to flourish.

Our family loved camping here! It was our first time camping with kiddos and the amenities made it so much easier. Comfy warm beds, hot shower, and composting toilet made camp life a breeze. Jodi and Aaron were the sweetest hosts, offering recommendations for 4th of July fireworks viewing and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this spot - it was an easy commute from Seattle on the Southworth Ferry.

I loved my stay at Two Frog Bog! It was absolutely magical and serene and exactly what I needed for self connection. Really cozy spot and you’re well taken care of with anything you should need. I will absolutely be coming back when in Washington again and will be recommending it highly. Everything was better than we could have imagined. Space was beautiful, location was easy to get to, and convenient to Olalla market, the park, beds were comfy. Super nice outdoor hot water shower, games for entertaining and a great fire pit (bring wood). Jodi and Aaron were fabulous hosts and we left with a vehicle full of beautiful flowers. Also, the doggies Norman and Bruce brought us much joy when we got a chance to visit them. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet night away.

Elona was such a gracious host! The Dragonfly Den was exactly what my friend and I were looking for in a cozy reading retreat. The Den was intimate and wonderful. The warming blankets were ultra comfy and luxurious. The weather cooperated and we even got to have a campfire in the evening. Jim built a wonderful campfire for us and was kind enough to share some of his awesome stories. Would come back again!!!

We had such a lovely time, even with less than ideal weather! The beds were very comfortable (probably the most comfortable beds we’ve had ant ANY accommodation) and sufficiently warm. The tent was super spacious and it was nice to have a little seating area inside where it was dry. Jodi was very willing to answer ALL of our questions so we felt sufficiently prepared. It is clear that this property is well loved and the hosts take pride in providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests.
