The property, aptly named the Oasis years ago, is 34-acres of lawns, shade trees, ponds, and natural landscaping over 50 years in the making. The landscaping was started by Tom who still lives in the farmhouse. The Schierman family has owned this property for four generations. The Oasis is located in the rolling hills of the Palouse in eastern Washington State. The newly created Yonder Hills Disc Golf Course is a private 18 and 9-basket course with long and short pads for almost every basket. A mix of open lawn, wooded fairways, water hazards, and elevation changes. Day, overnight or weekly reservations must be made to enjoy this private course. The disc golf course is under construction with some layout changes on the last three baskets. It's playable but it isn't perfect yet. We had to shift focus to the barn restoration grant to meet the June 2025 deadline. This is a perfect basecamp to relax and unwind or be creative. Read in the lawn. Cook over the fire. Explore the Palouse. Disc golf anytime. Guests may bring their own private fire pits. Firewood is provided for the community fire pit. Yonder Hills can be reserved for larger group camps and private camping events. There is plenty of room for several vehicles and tailgate camping. Please contact us to request a reservation for a reunion, wedding, private party, disc golf tournament, or concert. There are no dedicated electrical hookups, sewage hookups, or potable water available at this time. Bottled or bulk water is available in in St. John five miles away. Electrical outlets in the gravel parking area can be used to charge small devices. We are constantly upgrading the property, look forward to better amenities as we grow. St. John has a bar/restaurant, grocery store, hardware stores, gas station, 2 hotel rooms, library, coffee and gift shops as well as a very nice 9-hole traditional golf course. There are numerous small towns, lakes, rivers/creeks, backroads, viewpoints, and historic stops around the Palouse region as well as amazing photography year round. Come for the abundant stars, the fall colors and brisk air, to socialize with other travelers, or to find the peace of the Palouse country.

Welcome to our peaceful, privately owned forest retreat 10 miles north of Coeur d' Alene Idaho and just 2.5 miles (an 8-minute drive) from Silverwood Theme Park and a nearby gas station and grocery store. Tucked away among towering old-growth trees, this secluded property offers a quiet, natural escape with plenty of space to relax. We offer six spacious RV sites (30x10 feet minimum each), each with individual power and water hookups, and two grassy fields ideal for tent camping. Tent campers can access water and electricity at a shared station near the indoor restroom. Guests have access to a clean bathroom with a flush toilet and sink for added comfort. The property is home to abundant native wildlife and provides a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. A retired homeowner lives on-site, available if needed, while still allowing guests plenty of privacy. Whether you're visiting the theme park or looking for a peaceful nature stay, this forested getaway is the perfect spot to call home during your North Idaho adventure.

Come nurture your soul at our off-grid cabin OR our grid tied cabin with modern conveniences. Surrounded by majestic conifers, you will find yourself in a forest paradise. Make time for bird watching, star gazing and watching wildlife enjoying their natural habitat. The cabins are both situated in a very private setting opposite our main house on our 32 acre property. We are conveniently located off Hwy 95, 7 miles north of Athol, ID. Spend your days exploring nearby Farragut State Park (7 miles), Round Lake State Park (15 miles), Sandpoint (20 miles), Coeur d’Alene (30 miles), or Silverwood Theme Park (9 miles). There are multiple dining options from breakfast to dinner within 7-10 miles. We have kayaks available upon request as there are multiple small lakes (Kelso and Granite Lake) less than 5 miles away. We are generally available and on-site 24/7 for any issues, questions and or problems that may need solved. In the case you forget anything at all……we can find it, fix it or provide it. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Some exceptions could be accommodated for additional tent campers in the same group on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you have a special circumstance. This was the perfect place to rest during my cross country road trip! The hosts were welcoming and made to sure let me know if I needed anything to just ask. The bathroom was so very nice after weeks of campground bathrooms, they even provide shampoo/conditioner and towels if needed. Having a covered area to relax and sit with power for electronics was also just perfect. Also the wifi provided was fast and reliable, I was easily able to get my remote work done. I definitely enjoyed trying their roasted coffee in the mornings while watching the sunrise. I would highly recommend this place for people traveling or even locals who just want a restful and peaceful getaway.

We were travelling with our motorhome. Shelley gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us around, even though we were already very late. The bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin was very clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, we only had time for one night. We had a lot of space in a really wonderful place.

What a beautiful, remote, quiet spot just off the beaten path. I slept so well at this site, I wish we could've stayed longer! Not much in the way of tree coverage, but plenty of structures to tuck a camp behind if necessary. Also, be warned that there's NO cell coverage here (wasn't abig deal for us, but make sure to screenshot any pertinent details ahead o time!) Shelley gave us our choice of wherever we wanted to setup camp, and was a super friendly, welcoming host. She even prepared tasty French press coffee from their roastery for us for the morning. Highly recco this spot, was a wonderful find for us while going cross country!

What a lovely spot! Our first trip out in our trailer and it was perfect. Such a nice shaded, clean, level spot with everything you could need. So close to Farragut State Park for a day in nature, but also close to a grocery store for the things I inevitably forgot. Ron and Vicki were so kind and easy to communicate with.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin. It is a cute and cozy space, not too far from coeur d’alene but outside the city enough to avoid the noise and city lights. The dogs felt really comfortable and were able to run around and explore. We had all the comforts of home away from home and Aran was a really welcoming and responsive host. Would love to go again in the colder months to stoke a fire and enjoy the beautiful scenery in winter
