Trumpkinland Farm is part of what used to be an old dairy owned by one of the original settlers in this area. It is set in a rolling valley, surrounded by hills, mountains, and heavy forest. I raise a rare breed of dairy cow and several breeds of fiber sheep along with heritage pigs. Geese wander freely, along with a few turkeys. If you enjoy animals, there are many kinds of them here and most are friendly! Learn more about this land: First, about my farm name:  My daughter had been reading The Chronicles of Narnia when we befriended and helped an orphaned little fawn, and she immediately named it Trumpkin, after one of the characters in Narnia. This is where her Trumpkin lived and grew up, and so this became Trumpkin's land AKA Trumpkinland Farm.  Over the years a number of deer have come to trust us enough to get relatively close and eat with our animals. Come camp with your tent or self contained RV in our private woods or meadows and enjoy our wild and domestic friends, too, in the beautiful, magical inland northwest!  You can have total privacy, and yet be a short walk from the main farm and a short drive to local natural attractions. There are trails to explore in almost all directions. Some camping sites can be driven to, primarily in the upper meadow, depending on your vehicle. If choosing to be deeper in the woods,  tent camping will work best in most spots, with a carry it in and park either in the meadow or down by the farm proper. If you are tent camping, don't forget a good pad under your sleeping bag! The ground is hard, uneven, and in some places rocky! As this property is also a farm, if you run short of food supplies, or want to buy some of what is produced right here on the farm, there are many options for that! From the gardens to wild fruit foraging, farms are all about food. Farms, camping, and the woods are also about relaxing. In this cannabis friendly state, if you choose to really RELAX, please relax respectfully. With fiber animals in residence, handcrafted socks, sheepskins and an assortment of hand spun gift items are available for purchase. Periodically classes are offered on old time crafts; let us know your interests when you book your time with us.

Trumpkinland Farm is part of what used to be an old dairy owned by one of the original settlers in this area. It is set in a rolling valley, surrounded by hills, mountains, and heavy forest. It is once again a dairy, with a name hearkening to Narnia, the books by C. S. Lewis. It is also, however, now a smallish family sized farm with many other species added to the mix. I raise a rare breed of dairy cow and several breeds of fiber sheep along with heritage pigs. Geese wander freely, along with a few turkeys. If you enjoy animals, there are many kinds of them here and most are friendly! Learn more about this land: First, about my farm name:  My daughter had been reading The Chronicles of Narnia when we befriended and helped an orphaned little fawn, and she immediately named it Trumpkin, after one of the characters in Narnia. This is where her Trumpkin lived and grew up, and so this became Trumpkin's land AKA Trumpkinland Farm.  Over the years a number of deer have come to trust us enough to get relatively close and eat with our animals. Come camp with your tent or self contained RV in our private woods or meadows and enjoy our wild and domestic friends, too, in the beautiful, magical inland northwest!  You can have total privacy, and yet be a short walk from the main farm and a short drive to local natural attractions. There are trails to explore in almost all directions. Some camping sites can be driven to, primarily in the upper meadow, depending on your vehicle. If choosing to be deeper in the woods,  tent camping will work best in most spots, with a carry it in and park either in the meadow or down by the farm proper. If you are tent camping, don't forget a good pad under your sleeping bag! The ground is hard, uneven, and in some places rocky! As this property is also a farm, if you run short of food supplies, or want to buy some of what is produced right here on the farm, there are many options for that! From the gardens to wild fruit foraging, farms are all about food. Farms, camping, and the woods are also about relaxing. In this cannabis friendly state, if you choose to really RELAX, please relax respectfully. With fiber animals in residence, handcrafted socks, sheepskins and an assortment of hand spun gift items are available for purchase. Periodically classes are offered on old time crafts; let us know your interests when you book your time with us.

What a great setup! All the campsites are well marked and easy to get to, even in the dark. It’s a great setup to bring multiple families who want to share a camping experience but have your own space for a person camp experience. Kara the camp host was very good at responding to communication and let my boys and I enjoy some peace and quiet together. The bathroom was cleans and well stocked. We had a blast and would love to come back again!

Super sweet couple; and the land/view is amazing. I misunderstood the RV site situation and kinda booked the wrong one but they were accomading and helped fix it. The property is so peaceful and we even walked down the road to see the cows and sunset. I really enjoyed spending the night here. The spot is packed gravel and flat. I had the place to myself so it was quiet and dark. And they offer wi-fi! The Lazy C campground was a spectacular way to end our family roadtrip. The space is clean and well kept up. Site #3 has water and electric hookups (sewer is optional for extra charge). The water line appears to run from site #2 so make sure the valve is open over there. I didn't understand why our water wasn't on until I figured that out. Beautiful views of the area and the outhouse is very clean. Pretty good wifi was available at our site.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Lazy C Campground! From the moment we arrived, Bryan and Colleen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, and they generously offered us a beautiful RV spot which made our trip feel even more special. The location is perfect—right off Highway 20 with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden gem. We were constantly surrounded by nature, with plenty of deer wandering through the area, and an owl, which added such a magical touch to our morning and evening. Our site was spacious, clean, and had full hookups, which made settling in super convenient. We loved gathering around the shared fire pit—it was a great way to unwind. The on-site bathroom was well-maintained and easily accessible, and to top it all off, the WiFi signal was strong and reliable—a rare and much-appreciated bonus for a campground! Lazy C offered the perfect mix of comfort, natural beauty, and small-town hospitality. Whether you’re just passing through or planning a longer stay, I can’t recommend this place enough. The only complaint we had is that we couldn’t stay longer. But we’ll be back!! Thank you, Bryan and Colleen, for making our time at Lazy C so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at the winery was amazing! Staff was very welcoming and the owners take great pride in their land, I was in absolute awe of their garden and beautiful sunflowers! The wine tasting was phenomenal and we truly enjoyed the homemade dip the owners make. Definitely plan on coming back.

Camping beside the fruit trees and grape vines was magical. The hosts are a lively couple who have put their heart and soul into their property. Time beside the river was nice and cool during the heat of the day. Expect to be self contained if you are camping.

Weekend Trip to LAZY C Mini RV Park/Campground
We had been recommended to check this site out on Hipcamp by a family member. His exceptional review was spot on. First and foremost, Bryan and Colleen are wonderful hosts. The property is very well maintained. and the three sites are all level with full hook ups with complimentary firewood as well (if no burn restrictions) Each site has its own fire ring and a picnic table. The hosts have constructed a structure that holds a compost toilet, but to call it an outhouse would be blasphemy. I'll say no more as you must experience it to appreciate it. We planned on staying one night on our way home but booked two additional nights because of the wonderful setting and quiet. I personally like to camp in a location on or very near water to pursue my flyfishing addiction and there seems to be at least flyfishing opportunity in the area to research. Now if the Lazy C only had a piece of water holding fish to catch and release, I might ask the hosts if they would consider adopting me! Oh, and my wife also...... sorry honey. Bill S.
