Welcome to Holistic Life Farm! We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens. Holistic Life Farm offers a 1 dry tent site for up to 12 people, a quaint hideaway cabin, and a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with a wood stove. We also offer 1 RV site in our parking area. Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination. Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria. Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

One acre wooded lot a quarter mile from the Willapa bay and 1.25 miles to drive on beach access. “Bleat Retreat”- (Site 1) has full hook ups and a hammock stand. “Goachella”- (Site 2) is a back down area with a woody view. There is a communal firepit as well as a solo stove for use by either site. There is a flat grassy space for outdoor games and near all the major attractions without being in a busy area. The property also has WiFi mesh with fiber speeds. Come stay with the family! These sites are for fully contained units and do not have access to a shower or toilet. Owners may be onsite at times, and keep a camper at site of their own. Site #1 “The Bleat Retreat” will accommodate a large trailer up to 40’ and 50amps. Site #2 “Goachella” has a sloped back down and will accommodate a trailer up to 25’, a camper van, or a roof top tent set up. This site also allows tent camping (for now, until the grass grows in thicker this is on the gravel area or sand near the utility pole) as long as you provide your own toilet facilities.

Just 90 minutes from either Portland or Seattle, this cozy glamping site is located on 220 secluded acres of private wilderness along the Chehalis River. Sleep in a cozy queen-size bed! There's propane heat, power, WIFI, and a lovely stone firepit. Come relax, hike, and explore! This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring. As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one). This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay. The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming. This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring. If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind. I live on my beautiful property and raise cattle. This is a working cattle ranch. Look and enjoy, but leave the cattle alone please. Your campsite is a very pretty spot on the property. Hope you enjoy it. Look forward to sharing my land with you. Corrals for horses available on property. Please remember you must be fully self contained. There are no toilets on the property! Water is available, near by campsites. There is no garbage collected. So please leave with what you brought with you.

The little A-frame structure was perfect for my needs and stood up well to some pretty blustery weather on my first day. It takes a minute to locate the structure if you arrive in the dark and rain, as I did, but once I was oriented, all was well. Definitely recommend this instead of a tent if you're coming at a time of year when the weather is a bit unpredictable.

Cydnie and Kim are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The farm and tents are well-maintained, clean, and very kid-friendly, making it perfect for families. We arrived after dark and it was easy to set up our camper top in the grassy area along the fence (we had selected tent camping next to car and communicated in advance via the app, quick response). We woke up next to a pasture with cows having a breakfast snack. It was pretty great. Compost toilet bathroom was very clean, nice to use.

I'd like to thank Paul for being so easy to work with- there was a glitch in the HipCamp app when I first tried to book my stay and I messaged him to request his help. He kept my time slot for unavailable to the public before even receiving payment until the booking issue was resolved, which was an incredible help in planning my vacation. The host's instructions were clear and easy, and the tent itself was in perfect condition exactly as advertised. It was set in a beautiful countryside farm lot with idyllic scenery. The wood stove was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this accommodation!

The glamping tent was gorgeous. We had a wonderful time, and slept very comfortably. There was a pull-out bed that would fit two adults comfortably (4 total in the tent) so we want to come back with friends this fall! James- the sweetest dog- hung around our site off and on during the stay, which our dogs loved, but FYI if you have reactive dogs you will definitely need to keep them tied up. We felt very comfortable here and our dogs had an amazing time as well. Gorgeous, peaceful piece of land.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay soooo much . We drove up from Seattle to explore Astoria/seaside . We arrived a little late and Paul reassured us that was okay last minute we let them know we’d like the fire pit and they had the propane ready to go for us when we arrived . The drive up wasn’t bad and it was easy to find with gps .The cabin we stayed in was very cozy, cute and perfect sized for us two , they also have wagons to get our things from the car to the cabin with ease cabin faced a secluded area and we really appreciated it . We also had service the whole time total plus . 10/10 recommend and we will be back
