3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in. It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy! We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family. Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games. Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen. We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."

Located about an hour from Olympia, Tacoma and the Olympic National Forest. Hipcampers that stay at Island Base Camp will find themselves in a large grassy spot surrounded by evergreens and maple trees. Within 15 minutes are 3 places to launch boats, kayaks, etc., along with some beach access trails. Many hiking opportunities in the area. Berry picking and fresh apples in the summer on the property. If you are lucky, you will be greeted (and possibly herded) at some point by 2 friendly aussies that roam freely. Ducks and cats also live here. 2 nights at The Hoopla

I loved my visit to the Harstine Hoopla! There weren’t any other visitors during my stay, so me and my two dogs had a very quiet, pleasant visit. The access to the beach a big reason I chose this spot, and it was perfect! They’ve got a wonderful property, I might just have to visit again.

Quiet place easy to find. Great tent and bed. Enjoyed not have to put up our tent. Very nice hosts. Access to the beach very steep and a little dicy using ropes to get threw one place. But we did it!

Weekend Trip to Dreamy Dosewallips Getaway

The Catalina camper was perfect for our glamping trip. The location is quiet and tucked away, which felt so private and relaxing, but was easy to find with instructions. The camper has a great outdoor space with plenty of seating and a table to eat. There is a table top grill with propane, it was nice to cook outside! The hot tub outside of the camper was the highlight of our trip. After a long day hiking and trekking the national park, head back to the camper to freshen up and take a dip in the hot tub. It was a relaxing way to end our day. Inside is so spacious! There is a bunk bed as you first walk in, a bathroom with toilet and shower, an entire dining seating area, full kitchen, and living area with a love seat couch. The electric fireplace was a cozy addition. The private master bedroom has a queen size bed with storage galore. We had everything we needed and more. It’s close to the national park and other recreational areas. I’d recommend bringing food and drinks from a grocery store and stock up the fridge (it’s just about full size!), plus there aren’t many restaurants nearby anyway. We enjoyed our stay and Emily’s communication was great, we felt comfortable and can’t wait to visit the area again.

Weekend Trip to Island Base Camp

A very cute, cozy, and clean stay! Angie was very accommodating and the all amenities were very clean and tidy. Love the vintage vibe of the trailer and lots of land for our dog to stretch his legs on. Located on the owner's property but very private. Separate outdoor toilet which was incredibly clean, rustic outdoor space equipped with seating, BBQ etc. My only suggestion is to use fragrance-free detergent on the linens (it was very strong but indicated they were very clean!).
