Weekend Trip to Sprague Lake Resort

GORGEOUS camp site. It was so nice to fall asleep next to the water. The lake had a cool breeze the entire trip, which made the 80°+ temps feel much more comfortable. I really enjoyed watching all the birds on the property, and on the lake. We saw some jumping fish too! The bathrooms were clean, and the water spigot was easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to The Old Weber Farm

I work in travel healthcare and was in need of a last minute hookup for my RV. I stopped for gas in Colfax and being late in the day on July 4th weekend - all RV park offices were closed. Headed towards Tacoma / Enumclaw, after a long couple of days driving and dry camping, I found Matt's farm shortly before sunset. Very thankful I did, though I didn't get much rest as intended because I stayed up all night watching the stars and milky way. No regrets there. He and his wife were still outside working the farm when I rolled in, and made me feel welcomed and with good conversation. The farm and land were extremely beautiful, and my dog got to stretch his legs and meet a few animals he never had before. When leaving the next day, Matt made a route suggestion which avoided the congested interstate and turned out to be the most scenic / memorable part of my drive from South Louisiana to West Washington, and for that I am extra thankful! Good things always happen when two Matts meet - I will definitely be looking this place up if ever my travels bring me back around. 10/10 - Land, farm, stars, hospitality, and route suggestion

6 nights at Camp Coeur d'Alene

This was my first camping experience at Camp CDA. I hope to return again in the near future. The campground has lots of cozy-looking cabins, a reasonably-priced store with necessities, a laundry, swimming pool, showers, kayak and canoe rentals, dog park, tons of walking and hiking trails. Everything is clean and ship-shape, and the lake proper is just a stroll (or short kayak ride) away. While most of the camping spots were close together I still had privacy and also ended up meeting many fellow campers. (I think I may have made one new true friend!) But what made this the best campground ever were the wonderful employees. Mandy checked me in with so much care and kindness and gave me the whole rundown on how and where to access everything I needed. Jeff, the manager, was more than kind when I had big car problems that were surely a headache for him. He very well could have made me feel like crawling under a rock for all the trouble I caused with the mechanical problems, but he never did, not at all. To the contrary, he checked in on me and made sure all was well. That's real; you can't fake it. Most of all, I cannot thank Bailey enough for everything he did to make our stay truly great even though I broke my foot (compounding the car problems). It could have been a disaster and Bailey used his own time to take me to the urgent care. Bottom line: it is a beautiful, big and well-appointed and cared-for camp with genuinely nice folks running things. Thank you all!

3 nights at Camp Coeur d'Alene

We stayed at site T-18 and it was great! We were able to fit our 10 x 14 family tent, our eating canopy, the fire ring with all our camp chairs and our car all on the site very comfortably! Close to the bathrooms and the gentle light coming from the lights at the office and dog park at the next site was helpful for my kids at night. We really enjoyed the heated pool! Being able to have a card on file so we could just ask them to drop off firewood was so helpful. The staff was helpful and quick to respond with any issues. The campground is beautiful and well maintained and the amenities offered made family car camping so much easier. The bathrooms with flush toilets/ and no-token showers were clean and well maintained daily. They have camp sinks for dishwashing, a store with basic foods and some fun things, and you even rent kayaks and paddle boats to go have water fun right off the dock! We loved this campground and will be back again.

Amazing site right by the water—couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The property has everything you need, from amenities to space and comfort. Even on a busy day, the sites are so spacious that it still feels peaceful and uncrowded. We were lucky enough to catch an incredible sunset right from our campsite. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a scenic, well-equipped stay near Coeur d’Alene!

1 night at Zaltana Retreat

Lance and Jen’s place was a gem - and overlooked a beautiful valley. Toilet was clean as was the picnic table - fire pit was a bonus too! Awesome, interesting couple. They were very helpful with directions and jumped my car when I ran down the battery (rookie error). I loved their dogs! And they loved my turkey and cheese. Yes bribery! Would highly recommend this HipCamp!!! I hope to hear from you when you cross the pond!

1 night at Amongst The Pines

Despite the rainy weather, my family had a wonderful time camping on Robin’s farm. Everything exceeded expectations and Robin was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The tent platform worked great for us, though I could see a bigger tent (anything above 4 person) not fitting. We camped with an infant and a toddler, and I’ll echo the other reviews in saying this is a great spot for kids. We’ll definitely be back here again.

3 nights at SPOKANE CAMPING In The Forest

We had a wonderful time on Jane’s property! We found the Hipcamp listing only a few days before our trip after needing to change our camping plans due to bad weather west of the mountains. She was so helpful and made sure that all our needs were met. Highly recommend staying here!!

Weekend Trip to The Old Weber Farm

The farm was magical, a little slice of heaven, and very private. The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area so much, so we booked an extra night here. Our site was located right between the miniature horses and dwarf goats, it was a level site. My husband loved going out the door to pet the miniature horses at all times of the day. The host must of noticed and brought him grooming brushes and let him in the enclosure with Pickles and Cal. The farm had goats, miniature horses, cats, ducks, geese, cows, chickens, a larger roaster, and a large St. Bernard named Bernie that loved tummy rubs. We wish this was closer to home, we would come more often to get away and relax. Make sure to visit Spokane falls while in the area.

Weekend Trip to SPOKANE CAMPING In The Forest

Our camp was private and peaceful. The outdoor bathroom was just a short walk away and very clean and well stocked. Jane came by to give us a lift on the golf cart with our stuff, and that made set up a breeze. Lots of nice details like two hammocks in the trees, some fire starters, a food scrap bucket, a map, a personal toilet tent… Our backpacking tent is not free standing, but he had no problems getting set up on the platform. Beautiful, quiet location situated near enough to Spokane to make day trips easy and fun - we came to see Jaws on 35 mm at the Garland Theater, and Jane’s place was absolutely perfect for us. 10/10 would camp here again!

Siemers Farm is located just 1/2 mile from us and they have pizza and salads available and Big Barn Brewery typically has food trucks and live music each weekend and they are about 3 miles away.

On the other hand, you’re just a stone’s throw from Wandermere and Kalispel Golf Courses, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery and shopping. If you’re not in the mood to go out or cook, Uber Eats and the like can deliver whatever your heart desires!
