Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, THERE ARE NO DESIGNATED CAMPSITES. What a great setup! All the campsites are well marked and easy to get to, even in the dark. It’s a great setup to bring multiple families who want to share a camping experience but have your own space for a person camp experience. Kara the camp host was very good at responding to communication and let my boys and I enjoy some peace and quiet together. The bathroom was cleans and well stocked. We had a blast and would love to come back again!

This was the perfect place to rest during my cross country road trip! The hosts were welcoming and made to sure let me know if I needed anything to just ask. The bathroom was so very nice after weeks of campground bathrooms, they even provide shampoo/conditioner and towels if needed. Having a covered area to relax and sit with power for electronics was also just perfect. Also the wifi provided was fast and reliable, I was easily able to get my remote work done. I definitely enjoyed trying their roasted coffee in the mornings while watching the sunrise. I would highly recommend this place for people traveling or even locals who just want a restful and peaceful getaway.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Acres Orchards

This was a fun experience! We go to Hidden Acres for u-pick every year and never thought to camp there. So happy we did this time! Our kiddos and pups (on-leash of course; pups not kids!) loved exploring the orchards by moonlight, waking up with the animals in the crisp morning, and slept so well in the country air. Because we could pick our spot, all the campers felt quite secluded and like we had the place to ourselves. Even though we had our own trailer having access to a real washroom and an outside shower was a treat. Thanks to the whole team at Hidden Acres for giving us an experience that we come back for every year!

We love the lack of marked sites - just find your patch of land away from others and settle in. You can choose orchard or pumpkin field vibes. The farm store is great, with lots of great artisan foods. Try the breakfast pastries! In the fall the apples are amazing. On a school day you might see a field trip of kids in the play areas or stomping through the fields looking for pumpkins. A few other things: Cell service (we're AT&T) was sometimes okay for streaming, but sometimes switched to a band with no data. It was better at night. The shower is outdoors, open to the sky. Plenty of hot water. The handles are reversed - hot is on the right. Five bucks is a bit steep for a shower, but when you've been boondocking a while, it can be worth it. If you need more water, you can fill containers at an outdoor sink near the store. Across the road from the entrance is The Big Barn, a brewery with good beer, food truck, and live music out on the lawn. Nice atmosphere - we went two afternoons in a row.

As a mom who often camps alone with the kids, I’m particular about where we will stay. Hidden Acres felt very safe, welcoming, and the kids loved the little playground area. I appreciated that staff were always a short walk away and being that they live on the property, I felt confident I could easily call if needed. The highlight of our visit was the kids being able to run around in the orchard rows and open spaces without disturbing others. Also, the ducks were a favorite! We probably won’t make it back this fall, but the kids are already asking to come back next summer.

Headed through on a cross country road trip and found this sweet campground on the way. We rented a cabin but loved the tent sites so much that if we're passing through again, we'll take one of those. The cabin was clean, comfy and a short walk to the bathrooms. The tent sites are large, separated by nice fences and have a pavilion kitchen available that even includes a microwave. The staff was kind and helpful. I bought a couple of bundles of wood and it was delivered to our site before I walked back. The office has a small store in case you forgot some camping essentials.
