A creek to your right and chickens to the left, this camp is out in the rural country side on a couple acres. The creek is beautiful and you'll hear it from camp. In November the salmon come up to spawn so you might hear them splashing. The Centennial Trial head is about a mile away where you will find a long railroad grade paved trail excellent for biking and walking. There are tons trails in the North Cascades up the Mt. Loop Rd outside of Granit Falls which is just 15 minutes north of camp. These are also hiking and mountain biking trails at Lords Hill Regional Park 15 min from camp or up the highway 2 corridor. Enjoy downtown Snohomish's restaurant scene and breweries, or head over to wine country in near-by Woodinville. This site can accommodate up to a 40' RV and there is plenty of room for tents too. There is water and a 50 amp outlet, plus a regular old 20 amp plug in. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. Our home is about 50 yard away. We will be out tending to the chickens and building our garden space. Maybe riding bike around with the kids. Our dog puts on a guard dog act but really just wants you to throw a stick for him. Dogs are okay but they should be on a leash to keep them off the road and out of the chicken coop.

I happily rent my pasture to J and W who come by in the morning and/or evening to check in on them. They have goats, alpacas, and piggies staying in my pasture. Or, just sit back and relax in tranquility, as the property sits at the end of a cul de sac just before entering national forest land. Be sure to leash your pets and keep a good eye, as there are wildcats, coyotes, and bears in the area. Learn more about this land: Pull your RV or trailer onto this lot and take in the beautiful southwestern view of Mt. Jupiter ridge and a peek-a-boo view of the Dosewallips River! Listen closely, and you will hear the sounds of the river below. The lot is equipped with power and water hookups! Please be aware the water hookup is near the main gate entrance and the power is about 40 feet apart, so you may need a long hose (see pic). Enjoy the view from the large deck, firepit, or picnic table overlooking the river, valley, and mountains. This lot is truly a little slice of heaven! Within a few minutes, find yourself at Rocky Brook falls (see pics) for a spectacular view and even a swim if you so please! Pleasant Harbor Marina (also shown in pics) also within 10 minutes! You will also find many hiking trails and parks nearby! There is weak cell service on the lot, so you may or may not be able to connect. I get 1-2 bars with Sprint. While this property is not very far off the Dosewallips road (35 mph), it is generally very quiet and peaceful. You may hear cars and motorcycles from time to time, but very faintly. The lot is at about 350 ft. elevation, so you may get noise traveling up the valley from the residential community below (to which I belong), such as dogs, people using chainsaws, etc. There is hunting allowed in the national forest, so you could potentially hear guns in the distance during the day, but that is rare. There are a few close neighbors, so please be respectful and quiet, especially in the evening. Please bring your own firewood when campfires are allowed and please do not forage for firewood on or around the property. Lastly, while the sightings have been few and rare, the neighbors have seen bears, cougars, coyotes, and bobcats near their homes and this property. So keep an eye on your children and pets, especially if off-leash (your pet of course!) The property also slopes a bit where the deck starts, so again, keep a close eye on the kiddos. You have a very good chance of seeing the local Roosevelt Elk that travel in huge herds around Brinnon (See pics). They sometimes lay down and hang out on the grass on the property! Make sure your pets have their flea and tick updates!

There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Forty feet from our home separate room with fridge, microwave and bathroom with cotton towels, individual hotel hand soap with shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw. We have a 3 or 8 person tent for rent, a double cot or air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices.
