Cloverdale Ranch is home base for the healing hooves of our large herd of goats. Our does started kidding (i.e. mama goats giving birth) April 15th and will continue into May. Watching them cavort in the pasture is a delight. We manage 200+ goats every summer, essential to providing natural vegetation management to manage weeds, reduce fire fuels and recycle carbon back into the soil. We love our dark skies and open horizons, and we want to share them with you. We have shaded tent sites in our windbreak with beautiful sunset views and access to a classic sheepherders wagon for additional shelter. The Bunkhouse is a work in progress, and a great deal this first summer.

Weekend Trip to Spokane River Lodge - Guest Suite
Rocky was a super gracious and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities were amazing! Rocky even had s'mores stuff set out for the campfire. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hiking down by the river. Worth every penny!

Wonderful place with river views in quiet serene neighborhood of Spokane. Rocky was very helpful and check in and out was easy. The great little touches in the kitchenette with coffee included cream and milk along with snacks. Highly recommend the place if you’re traveling through Spokane and need a cozy quiet place to relax.

Fantastic spot. It was quiet, private, shaded, and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were friendly and communicative. We loved the option of fresh eggs and the propane fire pit. The location couldn't have been better. Multiple lakes are a short distance away, hiking trails, and abundant nature in all directions. This was my first HipCamp experience and I will definitely be back. So, so much more enjoyable than a crowded campground.

This is a wonderful little spot that was just perfect as a home base for our adventures. We stayed for 8 nights and did amazing nature centric activities like huckleberry hunting, lake swims, and mountain hikes. The site was clean, level, and the hosts were great. Perfect spot for RV or tent camping! The location is ideal—just minutes from Silverwood and Rathdrum—making it easy to access town while still enjoying the peace and beauty of a wooded setting. The property is gorgeous, with a serene, natural atmosphere that feels like a true getaway. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s also close to the lake, which is great if you’re looking to fish or just relax by the water. We’d definitely love to stay here again next time we’re in the area!
