Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. We really enjoyed our time at Witt's End. Jake and his wife put a lot of thought and care into the space they created. It was also fun to watch the salmon coming upstream to spawn. Great place for family and friends to get together and catch up. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Beautiful camp ground, and the property managers are exceptionally kind and helpful. Trails through the woods, little nooks and crannies to explore with treasures left like hammocks and tables overlooking the valley. Very clean, very safe, very secret, and very affordable. On a scale of 1-10, easy 10. I highly recommend.

Jacob’s spot is very beautifully setup. Gracious and kind hosts. Nice grassy area and a creek across the street. Note for dog owners - the area is not fenced and there is a vehicle traveled road that is accessible by dogs. We have young and energetic goldens so it just wasn’t the best fit for us but I think it’s a wonderful spot for most.

Marlee went out of her way to accommodate us, including changing our reserved site to one that would fit our vehicles, as well as adding an extra night when our plans changed. The directions she provided were precise and got us exactly where we needed to go. The toilets were very clean. All the camp sites are well marked and even at night, there were no difficulties finding our site. The camp area was as immaculate as you can get in a forest; there were even chairs set up around the campground overlooking various interesting spots (next time I think I will book Eagle’s Nest!). The campground was quiet and I really enjoyed the peace. If I’m in this area again, I will book a stay here. Two thumbs up, Marlee!

The property was very well set up and had an incredible view of the sound. We would definitely stay there again! Our stay was only one night and we got there into the evening, but seems like it’s close proximity to a lot of fun outdoor activities.
