This was our second time to Tony’s campground. This trip was just as great as the first time. It rained majority of the time, but the extra large gazebo was fantastic for staying dry while still being able to enjoy the outdoors. BreAuna and Tony were nice enough to let us use the yurt since the weather was so rough. The yurt is very spacious and the pool table was a ton of fun. The yurt has a fireplace which we did not use, but seemed well-maintained and stocked with firewood. There was also a TV and DVD player with drawers full of DVDs to choose from. The yurt is great for getting out of the weather while still feeling that outdoor vibe. There’s also a full kitchen and bathroom, although we did not utilize either during our trip. Thanks again for another great stay.

Tony’s campground is a Hidden gem. Ample space to spread out for the kids to run and play freely. Nice amenities like power and water hook ups and a large gazebo to catch some shade or stay out of the rain. There are a few solar lights spread across the property which provide a relaxing ambience at night. There are some small trails that loop around the property that kept the kids entertained for hours. The site is maybe 10 minutes from downtown Onalaska. The night sky was incredibly clear and we were able to see the rings of Saturn with the telescope before the clouds moved in. Tony and a BreAuna were incredibly kind and checked in to see if there was anything we needed. We will stay here again.

We really enjoyed ourselves. The property is beautiful and, though not paved, the full hookup site we used was pretty close to level. We were very comfortable in our 32' motorhome. Linda and her family were very friendly and helpful. The play area was ideal for a range of ages. My 10 year old niece loved the trampoline and the zipline.

Linda was very responsive and kindly showed us where to set up our tent as well as other amenities on site. We were only staying for one nights so we didn’t check out too much but the composting toilet was spacious and clean (sooo much nicer than a porta potty!) The kids enjoyed the play area, particularly the trampoline and zip line. If we had had more time, we would have loved to check out the trail to the creek. There were a few RVs on site but they were far enough from our tent that we still felt we had our space even though there’s no trees between the spots. That being said, if you want shade, you’ll probably need to bring it. There’s early morning shade along the edge of the property, but most of the sites we saw were in full sun. We also fortunately had our own folding table as there isn’t one at the site. So, with a little preparation (I.e. pack a shade structure—there are not enough trees to set up a tarp— and a table along with your propane grill), the space can be quite comfortable.
There was some road noise (several motorcycles seemed to be drag racing around midnight) but that’s to be expected and totally out of the hosts’ control so if you’re a light sleeper, ear plugs might be beneficial. It woke my husband and I up, but our kids slept right through it.

We LOVED our time at Tony's Campsite! We had a pack of dogs to bring with us between me and my friends, including my LGD that doesn't do well with strangers, and since it's just 1 site it was absolutely perfect for us. We had 3 tents, but there was so much space we weren't near each other. The covered table space was great for eating out of the sun, plus there was a spigot a few steps away! The little trails through the property were great for walking dogs, the little pond adorable, and for being close to other properties it was fairly serene. Fire pits, picnic tables, tether ball, a porta potty, we wanted for nothing! The hosts were very gracious and communicative, and even stopped by before we left to see if we could offer any recommendations for making things better (we couldn't think of a single thing after 3 nights!). We didn't rent the yurt on site as part of our stay this time, but we will in the future, and hopefully our friends 27' camper trailer (there is a great pull through spot for it as well!). 10/10 recommend! Unless it's the weekend we want to come back, then we don't, because we want it 😁

Big field with large camp sites. Nice walking paths around the property. We were the only campers that weekend, so it was very peaceful. Well maintained and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. I only wish there was better signage from the road; GoogleMaps sent us to the next door neighbor instead. We will definitely stay here again!

Quiet, calm, lots of area to walk the dogs. My grandson ended up joining me - I could see him from our campsite wherever he ran, (not that I was very far behind) even to the play area, which had a trampoline, wooden swings, zip line, big tires to climb on, one great climbing tree.
