There are breathtaking views from every room, and the domes wraparound porch is a beautiful place to relax and take in the sunset.
Indulge in relaxation and reflection in our lounge room, where glass windows meet beautiful wooden structure that provides a serene atmosphere and invites abundant natural light.
Retreat to one of our three spacious bedrooms that provide additional natural light and comfort.
Lunar Lookout sleeps 6 adults, with two bedrooms on the main level and one upstairs across from the loft.
The main level features a master bedroom and king bed, with a beautiful en suite bathroom attached.
The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and a private bathroom across the hall.
The third bedroom in the dome is located upstairs across from the game room loft area, with its own private bathroom as well.

Don’t even think about it. Best glamping experience! The hosts are very responsive. Get their blueberry scones! Loved that the space is very private with beautiful views. We enjoyed the sheep right outside our window. The amenities are excellent. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Full Moon dome. 2 adults and 3 large dogs had PLENTY of space both inside and outside to rest and relax. We LOED watching the sheep outside the large dome window while drinking coffee in the mornings (French press provided!). There was plenty of firewood for the firepit and a propane grill nearby - we had such a peaceful experience.
Highly recommend ordering some popovers and banana nut w/ chocolate chip muffins! We ordered the night before and Remy had them made and packaged in a wonderful picnic basket by 08300 the next morning! And while you're there, pick up some fresh grass-fed steak for grilling bringing home.
Directions: site navigation was very easy. Custom road, parking, and site signs made it very easy to find the dome at night,
All linens for both bed and futon are provided so we didn't need to worry about packing bedding/pillows etc Traveled in early November and didn't have any issues with bugs like mosquitoes or ticks.
Compost toilet in the dome was such a luxury and easy to use.
Tips/tricks: bring a bucket or bowl for gray water. You'll need a way to wash plates/utensils, french press, hands etc.

We loved the Full Moon Tent at Remy’s Farm! The tent was spacious - which came in handy during a rainy evening. Bed was comfy, plenty of blankets and pillows to stay cozy for a lazy morning or cool evening. The views were lovely. We had fall colors, lots of open space, and a perfect getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I (and our dog) needed a weekend away from the city noise, and Remy’s place was perfect! The quiet getaway we needed. We bought some bratwursts from them and they were delicious! We’d never been to Strasburg before but there’s a lot of amazing coffee and food downtown as well if you need something to do. Definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful spot that is secluded and private, yet plenty of space with a perfect view of the night sky. The dome was very cozy and homely and felt like you were staying inside something like a cabin or private home.
It does get pretty warm inside during the day if the curtains are left open; there was a ventilation fan and also two flaps on the exterior to help move air and control the temperature. It was also chilly during the night (our visit was in early-September) but there were extra blankets for nights like that. It also gets very dark once the sun goes down but there were two lanterns that helped get around and also several small lights around the interior.
If I were to give any suggestions for the host, it might be beneficial to look at setting up solar so there’s power to charge electronics and maybe even set up some hanging lights inside. The rechargeable lantern had plenty of battery for our stay since it was just for one night but would not have lasted for two.
Overall, I highly recommend booking a stay here! The host was very friendly and communicative and the property was well maintained and furnished. The dome is secluded but has plenty of open space around you and has a beautiful view of the night sky! I also loved that firewood was already provided and whoever thought of including a wagon with your stay deserves a raise! Will be definitely be back soon!

What an incredible time we had... it was our dog's first camping trip and she loved it. Our host Remy made it an easy and enjoyable stay. You must order her scones and coffee - it made a great start to the day. She provided firewood and kept us in supply. We stayed at the half moon and we look forward to staying at the full moon one weekend.

This was my 6th time at The Full Moon Dome. It is always stunning at night and in the morning. We enjoyed the mountain views and stargazing. The partially fenced area is also a plus.

We loved our stay in the full moon dome! Had everything you need for a comfortable glamping night away and there is plenty to do in the area. We went apple picking, trout fishing, brewery hopping and kayaking down the Shenandoah. Would 100% recommend and hope to be back!

Weekend Trip to Our Farm in Strasburg, VA
Set in the serene Shenandoah Valley, The Full-Moon Dome was an inviting escape surrounded by rolling hills and open fields. The dome’s unique architecture blended beautifully with nature, and the warm hospitality made me feel at home and relaxed right away.
The host’s neighbors were super friendly and pointed me in the right direction to where the dome was, after I took a wrong turn.
Parking is at the bottom of a small hill. Carts are thoughtfully provided to help transport your belongings to the site. However, you can easily just walk back and forth to your car as needed.
Inside, the dome was bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. Large windows and skylights invited in sunlight by day, and night skies after dark. At night, it was very dark! I supplemented the provided lights with my own. I brought a portable power station with different outlets and ports and suggest you do so as well. Because I was taking astrophotography, I also had a redlight flashlight to save my night vision. It quickly got chilly in the dome, so bring layers. I had 5G T-Mobile signal, two bars. You could not ask for anything more.
The Full-Moon Dome is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and especially stargazing beneath vast, unspoiled skies. I left deeply refreshed and grateful for the hosts for sharing their special place.
I would return, stay multiple nights, and highly recommend this Hipcamp to others.

We had a lovely stay at the Half Moon dome on Remy’s farm. The bed and accommodations were comfortable, there was a private outhouse, grill, and fire pit. Definitely ask for the baked goods in the morning! The popovers were delicious.

Very comfortable bed! A little hot in the summer as the dome fan is solar only. There was a small battery operated fan. Camping would be better in cooler weather. Our host was the best part of the trip! Remy was very quick to respond to all questions. Gorgeous farm!!

The half moon dome was clean and well managed. For preparation I’ll leave my criticism at the top but overall it was an amazing stay ! Be prepared to bring cooking equipment if you plan on cooking while you’re there. In the morning. The hosts were super accommodating, but some of the batteries for the lights in the dome were dead when we arrived. If you get there on the early side check these if you care about having light at night. Please do take up the breakfast donation! The scones are out of this world! Th e views were amazing ! The composting toilet was clean and did not smell of previous use. The host was super nice, and their dog dill was very cute ! Very happy with this wonderful place, and nice proximity to northern Shenandoah!
