Look for tracks in the soil, signs they have been there, or if you are really quiet (usually in the early morning or at dusk) you might see deer, geese, or wild turkeys! As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. For more info call 863220 5881 Excellent drinking water is available from the hose at our house. Fires are allowed and we supply the firewood at no extra charge.

Perfect location if you plan on visiting surrounding cities, like Stowe. Camp site was well taken care of. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave several recommendations for activities and dining ahead of the visit for planning. All around really nice dude! Multiple showers/flushable toilets available. Dog friendly. Many guests but was very quiet, which was great. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner/welcoming...but it is camping and I'm always grateful just to have access to utilities. Over all, nice stay.

This was a gorgeous spot! Very peaceful, lots of area to explore (forest trails, streams, covered bridges and various farms (including llama!) closeby, and more), and the host was so kind and welcoming. We hope to stay again!! Definitely recommend for a peaceful camping trip in a beautiful spot.

This spot was 10/10! As a solo female traveling with just her dog I felt completely safe here. Everyone else staying was very kind and Will was fantastic! The bathrooms were clean and it was in the perfect location to be able to drive through smugglers notch multiple times to get to Stowe! I would definitely stay here again!

Site was very large and very private. Enjoyed the unobstructed view of the beautiful night sky, and plenty of room for playing with yard games. Had a bit of a hard time leveling the RV. But it was worth it. Recommend bringing a extra step stool in case your stairs end up too far off the ground. Also note that you will get contact info in the last email from the system, and you are supposed to text on arrival. We missed the email so we didn't know.

Site 2 is well thought out and accommodating for our 36’ Class A, and can easily handle a bigger Rig. Golden Maple Farm is an incredible piece of land that offers beautiful forests, open fields, starry skies, an abundance of wildlife, walking trails, water access and so much more. The location is also perfect with easy access to the North East Kingdom, Smugglers Notch, Stowe, Jay Peak, hiking, biking, covered bridges , etc. Thank you Coralee and Spencer for sharing your gorgeous land with us. Weekend Trip to Little Sister's Campsite

We loved camping here it was very secluded and we were able to enjoy a nice campfire right under the beautiful Vermont sky. The host Tony was very nice and showed very kind hospitality, he allowed us to use his kayak on the actual pond although there is a pond on the site it's just a small pond that you can swim in if you want or you can go to the hosts main house and go in the real pond. I fished the big pond and caught a ton of yellow perch and some catfish in the pond by the site. We definitely would love to come back again someday.

We loved camping on Coralee’s land. The mountain views are beautiful! It’s very quiet. We heard owls at night while stargazing. Great location for hiking & biking. We highly recommend ordering their maple syrup - delicious!!
