Super comfortable stay along the river, loved having a quiet place to stay a night right outside of Salt Lake!

1 night at Secluded Orchard Boondocking

Great little spot! We needed a quiet place to rest after a long day of driving with our travel trailer. It was only a few miles from the freeway and easy to find. The actual camping spot is nestled in among trees in a cherry and apple orchard, very quiet and lovely when the sun comes up. It might be a little tricky navigating a few turns to the spot if you have a long rig, but no problem with our 22-footer. We would definitely stay again when traveling through the area. Thanks!

My partner and I had a great time camping at Ardell’s orchard. It was peaceful, secluded, and quiet. It was nice seeing chickens in the morning and the cherries and apples on the trees. Thank you for the opportunity of letting us camp out!

We stayed in Vintage Vinny and had a wonderful time; nice set-up in the back yard and the fire pit was great. Very relaxing and Gypsy was super nice and chill. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was great! The sounds of the creek were nice. The host was great and very helpful. The hangout area behind our teardrop camper was a little small since we had our two dogs, but the road was great for walks with them so it worked out just fine. The spring down the road is delicious. Looks like there is a lot to do around the area, we were just stopping overnight on a road trip so didn’t have time for much.

The campsite was just as described, and was a single campsite in the middle of an orchard. My kids loved having access to a grassy playground after a long day of traveling and before taking off on our adventures in the morning. We slept great here, and enjoyed our tour of the animals and garden. Ardell was so kind to us and my children. My sister commented on how it's close to the freeway, but still feels secluded and calm.

Truly one of the most wonderful homes and people we've encountered. Lynn is an exceptional host, allowing you to have as much space or community as you'd like. I felt like we were visiting a beloved Aunt! The main house is full of life and art and books, you're encouraged to politely make yourself at home. Lynn was available for anything we needed and her conversation left our souls feeling nourished. The home and property are a working creation: mound gardens being built, meals being prepared, and creative beauty happening all around! The animals are happy and healthy, as are the people, we got to meet a few helpers and Lynn's kind son. We stayed in the Boho bell tent and slept incredibly well, heated blanket and everything else you might need was thoughtfully provided. If you need anything, just ask, Lynn's only a text or phone call away or found tending to the kitchen or caring for a person/animal/plant. Thank you for everything!!

Weekend Trip to The Rockin Robbins Ranch

We had an excellent 3-and-a-half-day stay at this campsite, and it was really a 5-star experience. From the start, Lynnellen was extremely attentive, she made the effort to check in with us every night to ensure we had everything we needed, quickly answering every call and problem, and going out of her way to assist us during our stay. The hospitality exceeded expectations. The homemade breakfasts were amazing and a thoughtful touch every morning. The assistance with laundry and other little tasks made everything much more convenient and comfortable. You can sense how much care and attention goes into running the place. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for. We're already planning to return and would highly suggest this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-managed, and welcoming experience.

Tight spot, but really nice spot by the river. There's a nice access to fresh spring water down the street. There's host was amazing, responding super quickly and with lots of information! No access to bathroom.

Such a unique little stop! Our tent was comfortable and clean, Lynnellen was so kind and accommodating, and the outdoor shower was a delightful bonus. We were on a road trip so we weren't set up the best for not being able to park right at the campsite, but the walk is very short and it wasn't a huge deal. The sites are close to one another, however, we ended up being the only ones there so it was quiet and private for us. Lynnellen has so many different offerings for you when you are there, it is sure to please every type of camper!

Very peaceful with the little stream running behind the spot. My class C was a bit of a tight fit but it worked. Chad was an amazing host and the area is very scenic. There is also a hiking trail 3-5 minutes up the road. The spot itself is very private feeling with trees surrounding. This location is also starlink friendly.

Weekend Trip to The Rockin Robbins Ranch

Lynn was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly, would stop her busy day to answer questions or ask if you need anything, and opened nearly her whole home as well as everything outside. You can tell she takes great pride in her home and area & it she seems to constantly be making improvements. We will for sure be back! The sunsets were beautiful from the farthest point of her backyard, where a fun:unique community fire pit area is placed. The cows were friendly haha and the trees she’s planted are beautiful & not the typical UT trees. I also loved the swings that can be fun for adults as well. Our second night there a storm was blowing in, though it never rained, the wind gusts were over 20mph and our yurt was extremely comfortable and we could hardly tell from inside the wind was so strong outside.

We enjoyed our little weekend stay at Gypsy's place. She was quick to call us back when we had a question. I loved the chickens. She showed us her fabulous projects that she is working on with the property. They even gave us some farm fresh chicken eggs for our Sunday breakfast. When we head back up that way we will definitely want to come and see the new fence and the finished rehabs. I love that we are able to connect with people who are willing to share their space. Our next adventure awaits.

We continue to honor the old ways of caring for free roaming chickens, growing food without chemicals, honey bee shelters, sharing our Hearth and Home with family and friends. We have been planting Hazelnut Trees, Chestnut Trees, Peach Trees, and a grove of old Oak Trees, old apple tree varieties, and of course our Mulberry trees... We have expanded our ranch to a few more acres for our cows to be able to have more room. Our Fire Pit is open to all guests. The wood for all designated fire areas is provided. There are BBQ Grills, Dutch Ovens, etc so you can cook out doors. The Outdoor hot water shower offers a place to cool down in summer heat... Water is always hot with our tankless water heater... We plant and tend vegetable gardens for our guests to share in the harvest. We plant Huggle Mounds in the spring... as well as grapes and assorted fruit trees... You are welcome to walk our Custom Labyrinth. You are free to wander the fields, gardens and orchards. When the garden is in bloom, help yourself... Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. Picnic tables are provided at tent sites and at the Grumpy Dragon. WIFI is available at the Grumpy Dragon as well as at your camp site... Help your self to muffins, breakfast bars, beverages and fresh fruit. A refrigerator is outside for cold water and frozen water bottles. Coffee, tea and Hot chocolate is always available. Secluded Orchard Boondocking

Temporary noise warning! Thru the rest of July, there will be 24-hour pie cherry harvest, with the potential for bin-haulers driving past the site frequently. We're easy to get to off the north Santaquin exit. GPS doesn’t recognize us exactly, but keep going until the egg shack near the 35 mph sign. Non-GPS directions: if southbound on i-15, take the Santaquin exit (you’ll see this northmost exit first), then take a R onto the main street. if northbound on i-15, take a L off of the second (northmost) Santaquin exit, then L onto the main street. Turn R onto 400 E (immediately before sinclair gas station). Drive through houses and about a mile into orchards. On the R look for a break in the trees that has the egg shack, a gate, a mailbox, our gravel driveway, and a speed limit sign just past the driveway. The park spot is on mostly bare dirt, with a 360-degree view of apple and cherry orchards. Entry to the spot requires driving on gravel and dirt road. There is a grassy play area and trampoline kids are welcome to use. It's best to have adult supervision to keep kids away from the farm animals area, for safety. We're happy to provide a jug of pure drinking water. We can bring a picnic table and/or benches over if you'd like. If you need to, you can approach the house to access wifi for guests. Best if you can let me know, so I can direct you to a comfortable spot. GUEST_EXT pass: guest123 Noise: If you are a light sleeper, you might be awakened by train horns about a mile away. They usually don't come more than once in the night, and in the nearby house we aren't awakened. Other than that, you can hear the freeway traffic faintly in the distance. It's mostly quiet. Attractions: We have a few great local hiking spots. Santaquin canyon trails are only 8 minutes away. The Grotto, up Payson canyon, is fairly short and has a lovely waterfall at the end.
