Nice rv resort, it’s a patch of grass to set up a tent with a fire pit. Tent sites are close together, but it wasn’t busy. Very friendly staff.

Even though I booked at the very last possible minute, David went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. The site is very rural and secluded and waking up to a rich chorus of songbirds including Hooded and Swainson’s warblers was delightful.

Upon arrival late at night although I gave David a short notice he showed up in the Darkness with his family and showed me around the campsite and made sure that all our questions were answered unfortunately on the second day my girlfriend who isn't a big camper wanted to cut the trip short and David was courteous enough to provide us a refund although he didn't have to we'll definitely consider coming back in the future the campsite was very well organized and clean and easy to locate. Highly recommended!

This was my second time visiting David and his family’s campground. This place is very secluded and ran by a very respectable family. I will be coming back to THRIVE for the foreseeable future. 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful place to stay. To really connect with each other and enjoy each other’s company. Well kept space with many conveniences. We loved having the large dining table for games and puzzles. We hope to come back to visit with family again.

Staying at the thrive tiny house was an absolute delight! The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views made it the perfect weekend getaway. The house itself was thoughtfully designed, with cozy yet modern accommodations that exceeded our expectations. It was clear that a lot of care went into every detail, making it well worth the price. The endless breathtaking trails and quiet surroundings added to the relaxing experience and we left feeling completely refreshed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

We bought the property in 2014 and did upgrades on weekends, love the views, fishing, campfires, and meeting people so we opened the first cabin in April of 2018, now have 5 cabins and 9 rv sites and welcome you to enjoy the lake as much as we do. Every season of the year is a little different and all are wonderful! We are in nature, and across street from wetlands, yet only 2 miles from city grocery store and restaurants! There are 3 piers, fishing, picnicking, beautiful sunsets, nature watching, small watercraft rentals, guide paid pontoon tours, swimming, bonfires, bbq’s with firewood available on site for purchase if desired. Use for short term rental retreats, or long term.

Located near Lake Tejas or Steinhagen Reservoir travel 2.9 acres into a wooded hunting ground and enjoy a weekend of natures beauty. When you’re done setting up camp, hike the forest trails enjoy some vollyball with your friends and picnic under the shade of the trees. Our sites does have water access, an outhouse with a flushing toilet. Access to a rec area with volley ball. We also rent tents upon request. We have a 10 person tent for $50 a large 4-5 person tent with screened in area for $30. We offer a move in the woods package as well. A projector/screen setup and you bring a movie or rent one from us for $1 per title.

Are you looking for a unique place to spice up your trip? Have you ever slept in a Dome? Well, come try it out at Bespoke Outdoor Bubbles! This is truly a once in a lifetime find. When you stay in our dome on the farm with an enormous pool, not only do you get to experience something new and exciting, you also have access to so many fun things to do! The coolest part? The top is transparent, so you can fall asleep wishing on a star. This dome is anchored to a sturdy wooden deck. There is a retractable awning that covers each dome reducing the green-house effect during the daytime and can be opened to reveal the beautiful skyline during the day or the wonderous starlit sky at night. Inside you’ll find a cozy king bed and a trundle that can comfortably sleep up to four guests. There is air conditioning and heating inside as well as a full private bathroom. The bathroom even has a clawfoot tub! Toiletries are provided for you during your stay. The dome is located in Sam Houston National Forest on a beautiful ranchette of almost 8 acres. On the ranchette you’ll be able to see chickens, turkeys (seasonal), goats, pigs, rabbits, and a garden near the home as well as livestock grazing in the pastures. Wildlife is present in the forest, so there are some food restrictions inside the dome to keep you safe. (See “rules to keep in mind”) A pathway that is clear during the day and perfectly lit for your convenience at night takes you directly to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There, you will have access to a BBQ pit, an outdoor pavilion, pool, hot tub, and pool house. If you’d like to have some fun, games like corn hole, oversized connect-four, chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe, hop-scotch, water volleyball, and horseshoes for you to enjoy.
