Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. We had a wonderful stay at Friends in RV Spaces, definitelyexcellent value for money. Even though we were travelling in a campervan without hookups, the site had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the WiFi near the little red building was fast and reliable. After spending time in the big cities of Texas, it was such a refreshing change to relax in a peaceful, green space with dark night skies and true country quiet. Sam greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. He showed us around the farm and was interesting to chat with. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Fort Worth, we’d highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time during a wintery getaway during an ice/snow storm this past weekend. We had the entire cabin area to ourselves (yes I was told 100x by friends we were crazy to go to Texoma for a snow storm) and our Kabana 9 could not have been cuter. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Staff did a fantastic job making sure we had extra blankets to stay warm and jugs of water. The hosts even came by to see how we were doing on Day 2. Was a gorgeous location before and after the snow. The bathrooms were amazing and clean. We are sold and will be back again in the warmer spring weather.

Loved this spot! The view was amazing, right by the water. The cabin was cozy and the restrooms very nice, loved that there were individual restrooms/shower. The provided fire pit, sink, and grill at each site made it easy to cook campfire meals. Will definitely be back!

We tent camped for the Thanksgiving weekend and it was lovely! The wheelbarrow available for use was clutch for the walk-in site. Even though it was mostly flat, it saved us the hassle of carrying things down and back. They sell wood and are easily available for questions or if you need to place an order via text. The bathrooms were clean, had TP, and the water was hot! They are the main bathrooms for the whole property and are right next to our car park, so pretty convenient. Recommend a luggable loo otherwise. We were the only campers so had our pick of site. For this time of year, only appeared that half of the sites wouldve been useable. Some were muddy from deer and recent rains, plenty of room to spread out, though. There was unfortunately some glass spread around (user's fault, not properties) so be careful with pets or in warmer months, being barefoot. The beach was really clean and you can tell they do regular cleanups. Appreciated the extra social areas and walking the property was a great hike. It was super peaceful on the calm nights and cozy on the windy ones. Very much recommend this site and would return!

Absolutely amazing!!! I can’t wait to come back. Melissa was the best house and the property was even better than I expected. I was so comfortable, secure and felt like I was totally isolated. I loved staying in the magical tipi on Melissa’s land. A truly remarkable experience with amazing breakfast as well. I stayed for three nights and never tired of the entrance to the enchanted garden, the energy of the tipi, the wonderful hammock and garden chairs to lounge in, and relaxing bathtub (and soothing record player).
