From Caddo Indians, pioneers, homesteaders, this land has seen it all.  Now it is a ranch with an event venue, horses, farm animals, trails, fishing ponds and camping.  A true "Country Club" where you can escape your world and the stresses of technology in the style you wish.  We have two on site RV's, and event venue, with 3 private bathrooms with showers, a club bar, catering kitchen and so much more!  Perfect for the family that has a "glamper" and those who want to "rough it".  Big enough to handle family reunions, weddings and parties yet .. big enough to give you the privacy you seek!  Contact us for special events.  Close by are the towns of Mt pleasant, Daingerfield and Pittsburg.  All have downtown areas with boutiques, antique and second hand shops to visit.  There are several museums in the area including the Mid America Flight Museum - a private museum of 60 vintage airplanes in flyable condition.  In pittsburg there is the Ezekial aircraft and local history museum.  also within 20 miles are major likes for water sports and sport fishing beyond our own famous "Catfish pond".

Each year our does give birth to singles and twins.  They are wild so you may or may not realize they are there.  We have several wildlife observation locations near feeders.

We have a peaceful walking path that meanders through the woods. Our campers love to take walks and just rest in the calm and peace among the rustling pines and native timbers.
There are some games stored in the outdoor kitchen to guests to enjoy. 

The PARK at Brushy Creek

We're situated just outside Trenton on 55 acres of gently sloping terrain featuring a wide creek and expansive grounds beyond the Big Oak, perfect for exploration.

Enjoy stunning sunsets, a clear view of the night sky, the tranquil sounds of the creek, and occasional visits from deer, all contributing to a peaceful retreat.

Our property is evolving as we create manicured groves and open pastures for both our farm animals and guests. During rainy spells, expect some mud and occasional sightings of heavy equipment or tractors.

Our livestock rotate between our two properties, so they may not always be here at The PARK at Brushy Creek. If you don't see them here, you're welcome to visit our other property across the road with the big green gate.

Currently, there is no electricity or Wi-Fi on the property. Lighting is provided by solar power or batteries. Tent sites have access to a water spigot, and there's a Port-o-let nearby.

This is rural country living; our neighbors' livestock and dogs may make sounds like bleating, barking, oinking, mooing, neighing, squealing, whinnying, braying, or whining at any time of day or night.

We are conveniently located one hour north of Dallas Fort Worth, just 30 minutes from McKinney, Sherman, or Greenville, and within 10 miles of Leonard, Whitewright, and Bonham. Trenton is only five miles away.

Several lakes are nearby including Lake Bonham, Lake Texoma, and the new Bois' d Arc Lake.

I4 acres with spring-fed creek,  just a few minutes from Lindale restaurants and supplies.  For more info about the tiny house or yurt rentals, please inquire.   It has extended acreage with multiple ecosystems.  I just found a spring and will be doing livestock.  I just built an outdoor kitchen area and camp shower (need propane tank).  There is an RV plug, electricity (extra fee), and a water hose.

There is a garage on the property that should remain locked; if you have an ATV or something you want to lock up, we can discuss garage access if need be (for a fee).  

The lower parts of the property require 4-wheel drive, but the top has water and electricity, so any car is fine. 

As this is an outdoor area, there are bugs and critters.  I have never had a problem, but this is notice that you agree to assume all liability and responsibility for your party by camping at this property.  NEW:  Starlink Satellite Internet!

Glamp like a Champ

Make memories on our Family farm offering a “room with a view”. Experience a glamping tent that overlooks a 8 acre fully stocked lake (catch and release only) Recharge, re-energize your mind, body and spirit in this tranquil, private setting. Watch the wildlife including deer, hogs, geese, ducks and an occasional Bald Eagle. The sunsets are truly magnificent, stars are bright (no city lights). Fire pit is provided (wood available for purchase or bring your own) Kitchen has bbq grill and Blackstone grill (we provide the propane and cooking utensils. 

Things to consider: 1)Tent has a vanity and sink for hand washing and teeth brushing 

2)fishing is catch and release only

3)bathroom is a Porta Potty, 

4)shower is private outdoor (seasonal dependent on freezing temps)

5)Firepit can be communal if more than one site is booked 

6)Farm animals make noise (roosters crowing, goats bleat, cows moo and coyotes howl.

7) Buy our Almost world famous Dill Pickles. Made with farm grown Armenian cucumbers. A real hit with our hipcampers. 

8) Buy some farm fresh eggs. Our free range chickens work hard for our hip campers.

A Little Piece of Paradise

A little piece of paradise, a rustic country place near the sky to breathe fresh air, hear the birds sing, fish if you like fishing, enough space to walk among the trees and enjoy nature, if you are lucky you will see the deer or wild pigs . 

The property has a house, a cabin and in the middle of the two there is a pool next to a small lake (if Reserve it 3 nights the pool be came exclusive), a barbecue gas grill and tables for a small pool party

The property is outside of the city limits but is close to the city, 15 minutes from walmart. If you have specific questions fill free to text. Wifi upon request.

We have deer during the season, wild hogs, a temporary river, creek, several ponds to fish, area to to ride ATVs, many trees, plus we are working in developing for more activities in the future

Retreat at Rapha’s Rest

The retreat at RAPHA’s REST offers 5 Cabins and 3 Private Rooms remotely located in the piney woods of East Texas.  It was created especially for time w/Father-God with 42 acres to hike, walk and pray + cozy Cabins or Rooms for sojourners seeking healing REST and RESTORATION before continuing on their journey! 

In addition to 42 acres to explore & your own private deck, relax on large Retreat Center Pool Deck - also perfect for group gatherings when using multiple cabins. A hot tub and fire-pit is perfect for enjoying those cooler evenings.  Multiple yard games including corn-hole, frisbee golf (1 basket), horseshoes, etc! Summer evenings can bring a bat show over the newly dug 2acre pond.

HIKING:  There are 42 tree'd acres to hike, pray, and explore. You will need good shoes for exploring/walking, especially when wet.

POOL:  Open 8am-10pm so BRING SWIM SUITS!!  Kids love it but it was designed around adults:  Pool features Waterfall, Hot Tub, and Tanning ledge.   BEACH TOWELS provided, but you may want to bring a robe/flip flops for walking back to room or cabin.  Please be respectful of other guests sharing.

HOT TUB:  DUE TO RISING COST OF PROPANE, use 1x FREE/day. Each additional use = $15 DONATION.  [Once temperatures drop below 50 degrees, each use $15].  We ask that once you request a time, you arrive at requested time.  After NO SHOW of 10 MINUTES, we have to cut it off.  (We understand delays happen, but you may not be fond of cold showers if propane is depleted!) 

LATTES /FRAPPES: Upon request when “Barista Cheryl” is avail. for small donation [formerly owned a Coffeehouse in Saint Jo, TX]

Enchanted Forest Cabins

Escape the stress and rush of city life and unwind in our charming A-frame cabins nestled within a serene woody area on our beautiful farm in East Texas. This off-grid retreat is the perfect destination for couples seeking a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature or for those who love camping but want a little bit more comfort. There is no electricity, but some spots have decent cell service. You are welcome to charge your phone in our barn if necessary, and re-freeze ice packs in our freezer. 
Farm Experience: In addition to the cozy cabin, our farm offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and farm life. Interact with our friendly farm animals, including goats, chickens, horses, pigs, and ducks. Feed them, pet them, and experience the joys of rural living. Our wooded hiking trails, and fish-laden waters offer both the novice and experienced outdoors lover physical challenge as well as relaxation. Guests often see our free-range animals as they experience the homestead. Bird watching is also a favorite pastime. We have working farm dogs that run lose, they are very friendly, and love snuggles! 
Guests are welcome to explore the Garden. Discover the beauty of our garden and learn about sustainable farming practices and reconnect with the earth. We also offer guided tours of our farm for an additional fee, where you can learn about our sustainable farming practices, our commitment to animal welfare, and the importance of sustainable agriculture.

Kaleidoscope Ranch

Kaleidoscope Ranch offers camels, critters, and 4 cabins located on 60 acres. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and dine. Linens and towels were provided. Family room with TV, DVD player, DVDs, games, and books. Covered patio seating and picnic table. No wifi but you won't miss it. Hike with the wandering donkeys and horses. Cuddle draft horses, alpacas, goats, and the mini pig. Fish in our pond.

The space

The cabin has 2 connected lofts for bedrooms, each with two full-sized beds. There is one full bath located downstairs. The ceiling height is under 6ft. The stairs are a little higher and narrower than normal.

Guest access

Guests may access all of the property except the owner’s home, guest home, and pool area.

Other things to note

The property is very hilly so bring comfy old tennis shoes/boots/rain boots. It's always a good idea to pack a sweatshirt and light jacket. Extra socks and clothes are always a good plan. Don't bother dressing fancy!

Land Of OZ is a place of peace and beauty. If you love the sun shine through the trees and beautiful pond surrounded by nature this is the place for you to come. Active chicken coop and garden. This is where we are now but I would love to have your input while here on how to make it a great place for all to enjoy.

Land of Oz! Sidewalk around one pond with bate fishing and a nice dock to sit and enjoy the surrounding beauty of towering trees. A bit of heaven.  There are several camp sites and room for 5 RV parking  hook up water and electric only. Peace and quite with the beautiful trees and ponds

The sun rises over the woods. Makes for a gentle wakeup in the morning.

Chickens, roosters, and ducks roam the farm. 

This was our favorite swing. It had bells that sound like a windchime, and it's next to a garden bed that will probably be really pretty during growing season!

Fruit trees line the sidewalk straight to the spot where we pitched our tent.

You can pitch your tent anywhere you like, but this was our favorite spot. By the pond, surrounded by a creek, tucked into the trees. Felt very secluded, but was still pretty close to the amenities. 

My son enjoyed hunting for dandelions that had gone to seed.
