My husband and I camped here for the weekend and loved it. The site felt private but not too far from the main house should an emergency arise. We walked the property down to the Colorado river and it was a beautiful little hike. The site is close enough to Austin that we spent sometime exploring the city as well. Giovanny was an excellent host! Oh ALSO we were blessed to have a sweet orange cat hang with us in the evenings, we called him Chico and was a pleasant surprise additional guest. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely everything is what you would expect. This was an oasis hidden in an unexpected place. I came for solitude and a menu for each meal, just to toss is out of the window and explored the eateries within distance (thanks Tamara!). I will definitely be back with the family and more, I want everyone to know, this is a place of peace and freedom. This place is a must and will be a future destination for all stay-cations in our family. Thank you Landers and Tamara for a wonderful stay!

Tamara was an amazing host and the property is outstanding. Perfect little weekend getaway. 1/4 mile from an awesome Mexican restaurant, dog park, and awesome timeless saloon. The property itself was secluded and felt very private. We very much so enjoyed our time here

Very helpful, flexible with the reservation, I arrived at night, it was a bit difficult for me to map the actual driveway, ( apple maps took me to the neighboring business driveway), worth the long drive into entry gate area passing the neighborhood houses, friendly neighbors, and the night time security staff ( sweetest curious cat and armadillo) were great too. Great view of the moon. Much gratitude for sharing your safe space. The bugs and coyotes sing a good tune for bedtime. Bringing bug spray in tx is a must have.

Weekend Trip to Breathe Deeply
First thing first, since this is about getaway, this place is not too far from the city, but definitely gets you out from the city. In the middle of nature, you can see deers, lizards, ducks, and lot more.
The place is very cute and my wife and I loved being here for 2 nights.
The host is very caring, she lives on the site and she helped us with anything she could do to make our stay feel better.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway not too far from Austin, I am planning to come back with my daughter next time.

Giovanny offers his private land for safe camping 🏕️ He is attentive, friendly, and kind. I completely felt safe. Also, offered a bathroom 🚽 with shower 🚿 to hippie camping. An off road vehicle is not necessary but recommended to make it to his camp. The best part is the camp is located near a bbq place for dinner and the sign bar for drinks. Perfect spot for a little Austin getaway. We brought our dog along and found 3 places nearby that had music, dog parks, and beer! Close to Lake Travis for a day getaway to the lake. We did Jessica Hollis Park. The airstream had everything you could think of. Even a little speaker to take with us to the lake! The bed was comfy and it fit myself and my 6ft partner. Landers was very accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another weekend there.
