We really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was great from the beginning and they were super hospitable to us during our stay here. We only got to spend a limited time here since we were there to visit inks lake and enchanted rock during the day. It was just a short drive to both and very convenient. Had so much fun trying to get pictures with the longhorns too. Hopefully we can come back and visit again.

The entire site was extremely clean. All of the hookups were easily accessible. The pull through sites were all leveled with packed caliche which made it very easy to park and level the trailer. The on site hosts are so nice. Overall we would definitely recommend staying here. The only thing people should be aware of is if you have dogs with longer hair on their feet or tail the grass burs, not stickers, will be an issue if you walk them in the grass. Bring a comb.

Man this was such an awesome experience with surprises that didn't disappoint. We only booked this spot for convenience. Got there and found out that they had their own crappie house....which is free for anyone staying at HiLine. Also, they have boat launcher available. Need a guide? They have local recommendations. It was so serene. We stayed an extra couple of days. Oh and the restaurant King Krabz on the Lake left us desiring more. I'm not sure how they get the crabs so fresh all the way out here, but let me tell you something....everything on the menu is superb. We went there 2 nights and didn't have leftovers. Suzanne and Jim are freaking awesome. Can't wait to go back!

Michelle and her husband were fabulous hosts. They love sharing their beautiful land and hanging out with their three longhorns was entertaining. We felt welcomed, and encouraged to explore. We walked around their property twice a day enjoying the views and peacefulness. We took our hammocks and simply enjoyed “hanging” out and reading. We enjoyed the photo ops and visiting the surrounding area. Their place was immaculate and they are constantly doing more.

500 Waves was perfect for a peaceful getaway. It offered convenient amenities like shade, a stargazing deck, a charming bathroom, outdoor lights/plugs for easy cooking, and a gas grill with provided tables and chairs. The owner's parked RV was unobtrusive, and we had ample space. Although the Llano River was low during our visit, its potential was clear. The location is ideal – a short drive from town and close to other river access points and the Castell General Store. The nearest river crossing is a quick walk. We loved it and eagerly anticipate returning to experience the river at its best. It's a truly special spot!
