Weekend Trip to Nauti Pelican

Property is nice,clean,and is situated in a well maintained área of Bolivar. Mike is very friedly and helpful. The fenced in yard was a true blessing. We had two couples and 2 separate campers, one pulled in the other backed in and there was amañe sauced to set up tables and cooking equipment in between. Highly recommend

It’s fully covered, so you’re sheltered from the elements without sacrificing the outdoor experience. One of the highlights is the amazing deck with a picnic table and additional seating that gives you spectacular views of the surrounding area. The fenced-in yard is an absolute bonus, especially for dog owners—my pups had the freedom to run around off-leash, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The outdoor shower with both hot and cold water is a fantastic feature, along with the charming outdoor swing that adds a relaxing touch to your evening. The patio area is well-lit, perfect for enjoying the space after dark. You’re also in a prime location, close to local stores and Tia Juanita's Fish Camp, where the food is amazing! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this private campsite! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners truly care about providing an exceptional experience. The site was impeccably maintained, with clean facilities, well-marked trails, and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beauty of nature. What truly stood out was the tranquility—no noisy crowds, just the peaceful sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves. The privacy made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering helpful tips about the area while respecting our space. The amenities were thoughtfully designed, from a cozy fire pit with plenty of wood to convenient access to clean water and even some charming touches like solar string lights. Whether you’re an experienced camper or just looking for a serene getaway, this site is perfect. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return! Everything was great! Five out of five stars, ten out of ten, twenty out of twenty. The only feedback I gave them was about the bathroom motion sensor light switch-- it will always automatically turn on when you go into the bathroom, and the switch doesn't allow that feature can't be deactivated, so it would be useful to bring a piece of tape and a piece of foil to cover the motion sensor at night, in case they don't think it worth it to replace the switch.

Weekend Trip to Jackie's RV Resort

My family and I stayed in cabins 5 & 6. We throughly enjoyed our visit. It's was a quick getaway about an hour drive from home. The manager was very accommodating could not ask for better service. We took advantage of the lounge area and played pool, watched TV and also had coffee there. The location is very close to kemah boardwalk and many restaurants if you don't want to cook. Armenia in the cabin was much more than I expected. Definitely will return.

Weekend Trip to Jackie's RV Resort

Had a lovely stay at Jackie's Place. The property is nice, clean and well maintained. We stayed in the cabins which had nice amenities including wifi and roku TV in the room. Customer service was top tier and very accommodationing. I would definitely stay here again.

The resort consists of a Clubhouse located just south of the entrance and a smaller satellite building on the northern portion of the property. It's 3,400 SQ FT with a breakfast area, kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, plates, cups, etc. Also on the first floor there is a huge game room, a full bathroom and the gym. On the second floor are located all the bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an office and the laundry area with washer and dryer, also we provide towels. When we have guests you are the only one to use the backyard, pool, hot tub, ping pong table and grill.
