Our property is meant to be calming, fun and relaxing.

Camping with class is what we like to say.

We are constantly upgrading our areas and property to be safe and entertaining.

 Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure.

 We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in.

 Want to go fishing? 

The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch.

There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view.

There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area.

Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome.  No side by sides please.  

You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites.  However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers.

 Come see us and enjoy time away from the fast paced city!

 You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree.

 You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos.

** Special note - We have a very nice fireworks show on the property above the pond on the 4th of July weekend that all campers are invited to enjoy.

Briers  Ranch Primitive Camping

Briers Primitive Camping is about a half-mile thru two pastures off of FM 244. Some pasture, some woods, creek, gullies--lots to explore.

This IS a working ranch, so you may encounter cows—gentle and sometimes curious.

The cabin will be beautiful when finished.

Welcome to 5D Ranch in Navasota, TX. We’re located 60 miles North of Houston and just 2.5 hours from Austin. We have over 14 miles of trails, 2 fishing ponds, 4 boats that are free to use, and great views of the night sky. With 24 unique campsites, we’re sure to have one that fits your needs! We also can provide rentals of camping essentials, a S'mores package and we offer a  meet the ponies session that can be scheduled upon your arrival.  We can’t wait to host you! Getaway Camp and Cabin

Tired of the city ordinances that restricted raising fouls, I decided to look for an acreage that is not too far nor too close to the city and which allowed the raising of farm animals. As of this writing, we have 2 beautiful heifers, 18 sheep, and colorful giant kois in the pond that once in a while can be seen when they swim near the surface.

We built a log cabin in the 17-acre property in preparation for downsizing when the boys go to to college. But when our neighbors had to move back to England, they sold us their house and 11-acre land.

With the cabin on the 17-acre now vacant, we decided to open it for camping (on the land) or renting out the log cabin after building the 2-acre pond.

Stay in the log cabin, or pitch a tent. Enjoy stargazing, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the property.&nbsp; Pick wild grapes&nbsp; or wild blackberries (when in season) or spring wildflowers. Kayak or canoe in the pond.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bring your fishing gear and bait.

Cabin use is free, but these are STRICT RULES.

1. No pets please, not even emotional support animals of any kind due to allergy in the family (we use the cabin when not booked).

2. No smoking inside the cabin

3. Do not use the bathroom towels for kitchen purposes&nbsp;or to wipe off dirt

4. Please no outdoor footwear indoors, but you are welcome to wear clean indoor footwear. Violation will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit

5.&nbsp; Cars MUST be parked on the rocked section, thus walking is necessary from this point.&nbsp; This is a 2-3 minute walk. The driveway might be dry but, no vehicles will be allowed past the rocked section due to unpredictability of weather. If it rains, vehicles will get stuck in the pasture.

6. Never leave food - solid or liquid - where ants can find them or you will cause them to infest the house including your bed! They can do so faster than you can imagine.

7. Please do not bring more people than officially booked, or we will cancel the reservation. No refund. We also close the gate once you have checked in to prevent the animals from escaping. 

8. The moisture content can cause shrinkage or expansion of the ground, which can lead to leveling issues to the cabin. So please be aware that doors may or may not open or close smoothly.

B&R Lakeside Cabins & RVs

Lake Livingston is a large 23+ mile lake. We bought the property in 2014 and did upgrades on weekends, love the views, fishing, campfires, and meeting people so we opened the first cabin in April of 2018, now have 5 cabins and 9 rv sites and welcome you to enjoy the lake as much as we do. Every season of the year is a little different and all are wonderful!&nbsp;&nbsp;We are in nature, and across street from wetlands, yet only 2 miles from city grocery store and restaurants! There are 3 piers, fishing, picnicking, beautiful sunsets, nature watching, small watercraft rentals, guide paid pontoon tours, swimming, bonfires, bbq’s with firewood available on site for purchase if desired.&nbsp;&nbsp;Use for short term rental retreats, or long term.&nbsp;
