Weekend Trip to The Peacock Wagon

I've been to many unique places, and Patrick's Peacock property is one of the most fulfilling. It's within walking distance of the kayak rental, with a special deal for those staying here. A bar with amazing staff. The hot tub is super nice when the weather cools at night. SO MANY DEER! Loved seeing all the little babies jumping around, unique geese, cardinals, Patrick has great recommendations not only for the local Cafe Lago for breakfast, but also music. He basically built everything himself and the craftsmanship, care, and planning show. Highly suggest checking it out!

Fantastic setup with very spacious accommodations. The group fire pits were great and the star gazing was perfect. Highly recommended for a weekend.

3 nights at Lake Buchanan Rv and Cabin Resort

Very nice park. Site 29 had a water view of the lake. Beautiful grotto-like pool area with hot tub. Excellent infrastructure, appropriate RV voltage at post, good water pressure, good WiFi. Lounge area next to office with TV, games, coffee service, and microwave. Office staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. They also have a rally hall with kitchen available for RV rallies. Cabin rentals also available. Boat ramp and kayak rentals are also available. Located literally next to Buchanan Dam on the north end. This was formerly Big Chief RV Park for years, now under new ownership. Highly recommended.

Patrick was a great host! The Peacock is a cute, unique, and quaint tiny home situated within the Lakeway addition of Lake Travis. We enjoyed the amenities the home had to offer. The hot tub was our favorite along with coffee and plenty of comforts. We viewed deer each morning and beautiful sunrises as we walked around the lake community. Using an eco toilet was a learning experience so you may consider that. Our stay was cozy and only a short drive to shopping and sightseeing in downtown Austin, great brunch locations and grocery stores nearby. It was a great glamping experience.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. It’s a great place for a romantic getaway. I highly recommend going if you’re looking for a quiet, alone time with a love one.

Wow! We stayed in the Vineyard cabin and it was beautiful! The cabin had everything we needed. The bathrooms, kitchen, linens, everything was spotless. The hot tub overlooking the creek was such an amazing touch. We were even able to go see the ponies! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

The cabin was great, it's equipped with everything needed. It's quite and peaceful, the bbq, hot tube, gas fire place were great and everything is brand new! We will defently come back again

Beautiful private-feeling cabin with a private AMAZING hot tub and all the necessary essentials!! This was a pleasure of a getaway!!! And as a beautiful bonus, we were able to pet and connect with the free-roaming miniature horses!! 10/10!!

Oh my gosh, I’m coming back for sure. This place was amazing and Leslie was so helpful in helping us with a forgotten charger. This is a beautiful spot and it would be great for multiple families renting the whole place out. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back.
