Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky. Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive. Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!

This is a great property with a lot of potential for adventure. You can burn almost everything around responsibly. There is a lot of firewood. Right now there are no bathrooms or facilities of any kind except for a small goat shed. there is a ton of scrap metal and random random things in a pile great for digging and scrapping in all free. Finders keepers. There are some really old giant trees on the property. One is probably the largest tree I have ever seen in Collin County. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back and sort of a swappy pond in the front. The Prairie in the front is some sort of different grass than usual. It might be native buffalo grass or something else weird like that. The property needs a lot of cleanup, so I would make a good to work campers or groups wanting a working party. The land could use some work, I could contribute a lot of free beer and food to people cleaning up the place before I build my house.

Lone Oak RV Retreat and Ranch is the cutest little community. Nestled in a serene setting, this hidden gem offers a peaceful escape for RVers and those who would prefer to stay in a guest house. One of the most endearing aspects of Lone Oak is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff and long-term RVers made it easy to feel right at home. For families with children, the on-site farm/petting zoo provides endless entertainment. There's also a pool for the warmer months. The Rodeo Cafe is open from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and Mondays and offers a delicious lunch buffet. The 24-hour lounge is equipped with laundry machines, a TV, and a vending machine. The campground offers strong Wi-Fi and the well-maintained nature trails are great for peaceful walks. There are bonfire pits, basketball hoops, a beautiful old chapel, and tons of guest rooms available for affordable prices. Lots to see and explore on these 81 acres. Overall, Lone Oak RV Retreat and Ranch is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge outside the city.
