Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. 3 nights at this is Paradise on Lake Texoma

We tent camped for the Thanksgiving weekend and it was lovely! The wheelbarrow available for use was clutch for the walk-in site. Even though it was mostly flat, it saved us the hassle of carrying things down and back. They sell wood and are easily available for questions or if you need to place an order via text. The bathrooms were clean, had TP, and the water was hot! They are the main bathrooms for the whole property and are right next to our car park, so pretty convenient. Recommend a luggable loo otherwise. We were the only campers so had our pick of site. For this time of year, only appeared that half of the sites wouldve been useable. Some were muddy from deer and recent rains, plenty of room to spread out, though. There was unfortunately some glass spread around (user's fault, not properties) so be careful with pets or in warmer months, being barefoot. The beach was really clean and you can tell they do regular cleanups. Appreciated the extra social areas and walking the property was a great hike. It was super peaceful on the calm nights and cozy on the windy ones. Very much recommend this site and would return!

Sherwood was a very accommodating and communicative host. The grounds were very clean and just as described. The water park was inactive due to the off season, and staying here made us want to come back when the park is fully operational. Great location only about 16 min to the Stockyards. We loved this spot! My dog is older now so it was really nice to have him be able to run around in a big field with soft grass. I put his booties on when we walked through the trails. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful, the woods are fun to explore, and the campsite is clean and private. Jamie was so welcoming. We will definitely be back here.

Weekend Trip to Willow Grey Ranch

Lovely spot with shade trees and open, quiet land. We could hear the water fowl and water lapping in the lake behind the camp spot. We didn't see or hear anyone from when we arrived until we left. It was a calm place we needed to pause and reset.

Weekend Trip to Northlake Village RV Park

My family and I were in town for a few days and booked this RV site because our usual place was full. We showed up after hours but the instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. The park was really full but surprisingly quiet. Park staff were super friendly; we recommend and would say here again.

We had a wonderful time at Rebecca’s land! We woke up to cows surrounding our tent after the first night. It was an amazing experience! Super quick responses and a great recommendation to a coffee place. Hope to be back to visit soon!

The cabin and park is just amazing it feels so cozy and the view of the lake is incredible. Can’t wait to go back! If the wind is too high in the lake for paddling there is a cove next to the cabin area that is great for paddling and blocked from the wind.

7 nights at Trickle Creek Ranch

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. Gary was a great host, really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit about the old dairy farm. Our two grandsons (3 and 5) stayed with us for a couple of nights and loved seeing the longhorns and exploring the property. We’ll definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Burgers Lake Camping

I wasn't sure what to expect but was really happy. We got to the waterpark/campground around 5pm on a friday so the place wasn't too packed and they didn't charge us to use the pool that day. The staff, esspecially Sherwood who has big plans for the poace, were all super friendly, helpful and told us to pretty much camp anywhere that you could park. We had the whole place to ourselves that night and my boys and friends got to run around playing tag in the dark which they loved. The next morning we were able to pick out the best spots on the lake for the day and had a blast. Just know that apparently during the off season they let you make a campfire but during the pool season they don't. We were there the first week of season and they made an exception so if campfires are important, you might want to double check with them before hand. Other than that, I'd absolutely recomend camping here.
