Super great place!! I was by myself and felt safe and enjoyed the tranquil scenery with tons of birds and wild life. The creek was perfect! Host were available if I needed anything. I will definitely be going back!!

Camping at Geronimo's land reminded me of camping as a Boy Scout in my early teens. It was awesome to share the nostalgia with my daughter as we roasted marshmallows over the campfire. We were able to enjoy all that the place had to offer, like the rope swing into the frigid Colorado river, fishing poles available at the riverside, the strategically placed hammock providing a peaceful, relaxing view of the water and even the little old play park. Our stay was uninterrupted, except for the welcomed firewood delivery on the first night. This facilitated the great Daddy-Daughter Camping tradition we have come to enjoy annually. PS. This is not glamping, this place is for REAL CAMPERS (you know yourselves).

6 of us camped out right by the river. The host crew was extremely accommodating making sure we had enough wood, and offering us the fish they caught! It felt secluded and like our own little slice of paradise. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!

Our family loved the privacy, creek, pizza oven area and large stones around the firepit. The cows were so cute and the family was helpful in bringing some extra firewood for us. We definitely look forward to coming back again! There is a bit of a slope down to the creek but the rope to climb back up was especially helpful for our son.

Fun campsite perched atop a clean spring fed creek. Host was communicative and helpful. Amenities not often found at other spots made the trip very fun and memorable for us.

Firefly ranch is a must do! Amazing host! Beautiful land to camp on, plenty of privacy, great campfire pits, plenty of wildlife, no light pollution, and say hello to the amazing dogs out there! 😊 We are looking to come back when the fireflies are in season! 😊

We were close to the river for fishing. The campsite was clean and quiet, the host were friendly and brought you firewood the first evening there and also checked on everyone each day. Our 3 little dogs loved the area and we went for long walks during the day.

The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River. Swim, kayak, or canoe...but there’s no better way to beat the legendary Texas heat than by grabbing an inner tube and enjoying a calm, steady float along a river known for an abundance of fossils and its wildlife. Bring your own tubes, kayaks and canoes, we are currently replenishing our inventory. Or perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree-lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River. We're kid and dog friendly (leashes mandatory) and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available onsite A few rules... 1. Check in is before sunset. We ask that all Hipcampers wait at gate for staff to guide you to your location for safety reasons. Contact us if you arrive ahead of schedule. 2. No wondering by the upper level cabins (these are private property). Showers are behind these cabins. Please respect staff spaces. 3. If you have an extra vehicle, please park it with your other vehicle. 4. If you have a 3rd extra vehicle, let us know and we will direct you where to park it. 5. Please be courteous of other campers space and road access. 6. All kids are free. If your kids are 17 and under do not add them or it will charge. 7. This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Enjoy pizza oven, grill, fire pit, picnic table, hot tub, swimming, fishing, exploring and knowing your party is the only people that you be on this site. Update: Off the grid hot tub is back!!!

My Grandparents purchased this property in the '70s and my Grandfather wanted to live from the land and my Grandmother loved her community, bluebonnets, and roadrunners. I'm honored to now grow more food for my community and share this healing space in nature. This is a "choose your own adventure" experience. You can camp in the Yoga Barn or bring your own tent and sleep outside. During your stay, you are invited to relax or roll out your mat for yoga on the shaded deck or sun deck, in the Yoga Barn in the AC, and book a private Yoga/Meditation class or Mindful Forest Bathing Experience from your host who is an instructor in both. Enjoy strolling through the trails on the property and touring the food gardens viewing chickens roaming on the way. There is a full bath in the Barn and a private hot/cold outdoor shower to use to cool off during the day and has a lovely view of the stars overhead at night. There is outdoor seating on the deck of the Yoga Barn along with a ping-pong table and gas grill. Meals are outside on the deck. You can bring your own food or visit a neighboring restaurant. Your hosts are Foodies and happy to help you find something. We are 5 minutes from McKinney Roughs Nature Center, Zip Lost Pines, and Hyatt Lost Pines. A short 10-minute trip to Bastrop for shopping, river activities, and Bastrop State Park.
