Lovely, peaceful campsite near the Colorado River, with plenty of room to spread out. We got lucky—we were the only ones camping so had the place to ourselves all weekend. Bridget was a fantastic and welcoming host, immediately responding to all of our questions and requests. Electric hookup at site and communal bathhouse and dish washing area were great amenities. We loved our time here and will definitely return!

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! With nature watching I saw 10 deer total throughout my stay and a Cow! My Lady and family will return one day and get some fishing done!

The area to camp was amazing, very diverse of options for cook, chill, and camp. Very unique. Matt's and Gina were very attentive and available for any needs.

The spot was fantastic! I love that there are only three spots. It was private and clean, right on the water. This is definitely the best spot!

Me and my family loved this treehouse! It was tons of fun for the kids - there are games, puzzles, kayaks, a canoe, a cargo net, arts & crafts and a nice little "hike" on the property. The water was low but the host sent us another spot we could checkout closeby if we wanted more water- turns out there was plenty still to entertain the kids. There are pantry staples and basic seasonings, a small electric cook top thing, a few pans/pot, mini fridge, kettle, coffeemaker and a toaster oven. If you find you need something you are nearby a store (but don't worry, this is a nice isolated place. I never felt like there was anyone nearby! I did hear some loud music a couple of times at night, maybe from a neighbor? but it subsided around midnight and wasn't *too* loud.) There are 3 cute ducks that hang around and a bunch of cardinals and other small songbirds that pop up- one even greeted me in the shower, haha. The weather was perfect - especially for sleeping outside in the hanging bed. The host is super nice and will answer quickly! Super great place!! I was by myself and felt safe and enjoyed the tranquil scenery with tons of birds and wild life. The creek was perfect! Host were available if I needed anything. I will definitely be going back!!

One of the best out there. Bridget was fast to respond and really cares about the guest experience. She went above and beyond a few times unprompted. The sites were great and spaced well apart. Easy drive from Austin. Kayaks available for rent and we took them out to go fishing. Beautiful land that is well taken care of. Plenty of details that show that the property owners care - from the fire pits to the showers to the layout of the sites - all very well thought out. Our family had a wonderful time. One note - you can hear the train horns at night, which kept us up the first night. They didn’t seem to bother us as much the second night. Bring earbuds if you’re sensitive to that. We’ll be back. Thanks again!

Our family loved the privacy, creek, pizza oven area and large stones around the firepit. The cows were so cute and the family was helpful in bringing some extra firewood for us. We definitely look forward to coming back again! There is a bit of a slope down to the creek but the rope to climb back up was especially helpful for our son.

Beautiful spot!! We stayed 2 nights and had a blast! Right next to the river. Very clean amenities. Hot water! Bridget is awesome! Went out of her way to make our stay that much more. I highly recommend staying here!

Really beautiful site. The river was great for fishing and paddle boarding. The kids had a blast. The bath house was clean and convenient. Bridget was responsive and helpful. The only small negative was noise at night (train, dogs barking); it isn’t terrible but detracts from the beautiful birds in the morning.

Weekend Trip to Country Glamping By The Pool

Everything was great. It was quiet and we had privacy. Bathroom and shower were amazing, we loved how it was set up. Huge plus that the yurt has heating and cooling. Our dogs had a blast roaming the land. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Some amenities could use some upgrading, but still a great stay. Would go again.

Matt B.’s Land Treehouse!!

This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Enjoy pizza oven, grill, fire pit, picnic table, hot tub, swimming, fishing, exploring and knowing your party is the only people that you be on this site. Update: Off the grid hot tub is back!!!
