Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

on a 350 acre working cattle ranch with a quarter mile of river frontage!
The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. Going further back in history, the Fuller's Folly River Ranch has an abundance of petrified wood, they say that if you have fossilized sea shells you were under water, but if you have petrified wood you had land creatures. Hunting for petrified wood is a fun adventure here. (But leave them for the next person to discover!)

You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. I really enjoyed David’s place. It’s a couple of acres of gated land out in the country with 3 rv spots.
The location was key for me to be close to family during the holidays. It’s only a short drive to a few lively cities but might not be ideal if you want to be in Dallas daily or don’t have a second car to drive thats separate from your rv. Even though it’s in the country I was still able to get Ubers, and Walmart delivery.
There are some factories across the street. You can occasionally hear semis, trains, roosters and the neighbors enjoying themselves. It didn’t bother me at all and outside of that it’s pretty quiet.
Overall it’s a GREAT value and a nice place to stay. The price for full hookups was worth it and the hosts were very responsive. I hope to come stay here whenever I’m visiting my family.

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. There's not really any Internet service it was very spotty, but that's what makes it even better. It's nice to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. This is a great camping spot for families. The hosts made our stay easy and checked in each day with any updates and or to see if we needed anything. Being able to get firewood, kayaks, ice, and fresh water from the hosts was convenient. The views along the river are amazing. Cell coverage is limited, which we liked. Wildlife is present all around the property, the coolest being the owls, whose hoots would resonate and echo off the river. Speaking of the river, the water is very calm in front of the camp sites, with most allowing for pretty easy entry. Plan on bringing life jackets for kids. This is a camping spot we will definitely be returning to!

I loved tent camping at Alexander Creek! The sky was so clear and the star gazing conditions were perfect! The bathrooms and showers weren’t too far away and were very clean.

We had an absolute blast tent camping this weekend! The sites were really big! I love that they deliver fire wood right to your site. Having a bathroom near was also nice! They were very friendly and communicated with us multiple times throughout the weekend. We hope to be back very soon!
