It is situated at the east end of a 20 acre horse boarding stable. This is a quiet setting in southern New Mexico just one mile off McNutt Rd on a dirt road.
There is plenty of space to stretch your legs and enjoy a view of the Franklin Mountains and if you are lucky some of our wildlife.
A great place to spend a quiet, safe, stopover. You are within easy reach of White Sands National Park, Hueco Tanks Park, Franklin Mountain Park, and all the amenities of El Paso ,Texas. COMPOSTING TOILET DIRECTIONS
This composting toilet works by automatically separating liquids from solids . Just follow the directions below.
Men please sit for every use.
1. Lift seat to place a filter over the opening to catch solids. Toilet paper is disposed of in the toilet.
The lever on the side can be opened to allow solids to pass through into the lower half, and closed again to hide the contents.
2. After use turn the lever on the side ( ) to open solids container.
3. When finished close the opening in the bowl. Then, turn the handle on the ( ) side to mix solids and peat moss. Shut lid and leave. NO FLUSHING IS NEEDED.
The only things that should go into your composting toilet are your poos and pees and toilet paper.
PLEASE PUT FEMININE PRODUCTS AND OTHER WASTE IN THE TRASH.
Dumpster is at the gate.

I enjoyed my stay w Sally and the horses at SpurC I highly recommend her and her beautiful place far off the beaten path but well worth every minute!!! She was phenomenal and very caring as I was staying during medical procedures and she took time each day to check on me! So very sweet of her as I know she’s got a schedule to keep! Thank you so much Sally it was very pleasant….

Our 5th wheel fit nicely in the parking place next to the water hose. The compost toilet outhouse was clean and easy to use. Sally was very friendly and accommodating.
All directions were clear.
We would camp there again should we be passing through in the future.

Great property, great owners. Sally is a very nice young lady. It's very quiet. The composting toilet is a great feature that they have on the property. It was dark enough at night to see more stars than you would in the city. 5 stars for sure.

Nice place to stay for a one or two night stop! Or if you want to be close to El Paso. Composting toilet in the outhouse was a plus. Being neighbors with a few horses for the night was cool. Would recommend.
