It’s a nice peaceful spot just far enough away from
I-10 but not too far. You get a great view of El Paso at night from Sally’s property.

I enjoyed my stay w Sally and the horses at SpurC I highly recommend her and her beautiful place far off the beaten path but well worth every minute!!! She was phenomenal and very caring as I was staying during medical procedures and she took time each day to check on me! So very sweet of her as I know she’s got a schedule to keep! Thank you so much Sally it was very pleasant….

Our 5th wheel fit nicely in the parking place next to the water hose. The compost toilet outhouse was clean and easy to use. Sally was very friendly and accommodating.
All directions were clear.
We would camp there again should we be passing through in the future.

Great property, great owners. Sally is a very nice young lady. It's very quiet. The composting toilet is a great feature that they have on the property. It was dark enough at night to see more stars than you would in the city. 5 stars for sure.

This was a great place to park the camper for a night! The site is RIGHT next to the horse stable, which was cool. Sally was very nice!

Nice place to stay for a one or two night stop! Or if you want to be close to El Paso. Composting toilet in the outhouse was a plus. Being neighbors with a few horses for the night was cool. Would recommend.

It was easy to find Sally’s place. The amenities were good and as described. Nice bonus was the lean-to built on the side of the washroom with a bench. It gave us some relief from the August New Mexico sun!

Great spot to stay near El Paso, tent camped here with my wife on a road trip. Safe area on a ranch, but near town and adjacent to a nice neighborhood. We arrived after dark and were still able to find it no problem. Plenty of flat/soft places to pitch the tent. Pretty view of the mountains and city below.

My kind of place! The host was very nice, and the land is perfect. It's a little sandy, but I was fine in my van. The roads out there are slow going, but it's worth it for the privacy. The toilet was very clean, and the signs were very helpful and informative. The birds outside and running around under the mimosas are really fun to watch. It's a beautiful spot in the countryside with excellent mountain views in the day, and nice city light views at night. I would stay here again. <3

I loved camping on Sally’s ranch! I stayed for a night and felt really safe. Had everything I needed. Was super close to vineyards with free tastings. Great place!

This is a lovely spot just out of the city with beautiful desert views. I got especially lucky with a gorgeous sunset and rainbow. I felt safe as a single woman traveling alone, and the port-a-potty was very clean. I did get stuck in the sand with my campervan, so be aware of the ground where you park. The team at Spur C was super helpful and got me out of there and on the road.

Beautiful property. Accessible to the city, but still remote enough to enjoy the land the makes the area so unique. The porta potty was the cleanest I’ve ever used.

Very nice place to boondock for the night. Has a port o potty that was well maintained. Great view of the mountain range and el paso. Close to the city yet far enough away for it to be quite. Van life friendly.

We had an enjoyable overnight stay here. Sally graciously allowed us to arrive early since the spot was vacant. Google maps got us right to the Spur-C gate and Sally’s directions made it very easy to know where to park. We had no problems turning and parking our 19 foot trailer. Sally popped down during the evening to make sure everything was okay. We had a lovely chat.

Sally’s land is beautiful, in a desert setting with spectacular views of the mountains to the East, and a great place to watch the sun rise or set, and to watch the stars at night. There is plenty to do and see in Las Cruces to the north and El Paso to the south. We were awakened in the morning by the singing of a curved bill thrasher and white wing doves, and horses in the nearby pasture poked their heads over the fence to say hello.
Sally is an excellent communicator, making sure we had clear directions to her place, despite the fact that heavy winds had blown down her signs just days before. She offered to accommodate us for any inconvenience caused by wind damage. She allowed us to come in early so that we could meet family at the airport. We did not have a chance to meet her personally, due to our being off site and not due to any fault of Sally’s, but felt that we were well taken care of .

Sadly we got here late at night and got lost. Sally was very helpful with getting us back on track. The campsite was clean and in the morning was beautiful. At night the stars were beautiful and the campsite was quiet.

Solo female traveler here! While I cannot tell you what the camp spot was like because it was pitch dark when I arrived & left..I can inform that Salley was a wonderful communicator from start to finish & I would book with her again based on that alone.
It was difficult to find in the dark but I was also exhausted from driving. The road sign is very small & the road isn’t a paved road. When you follow the sign for the spot you’ll go a ways down a dirt road. Thankfully it hadn’t rained I’m not certain my Jeep Patriot would have made it but who know !!

Nice private spot and it was easy to back in our 32’ trailer. Close to El Paso and other sights. Appreciated the information sign on local wildlife. Due to the weather we didn’t get to hike around the 1 acre site. Note: GPS gets you there until you are at the gate. Don’t go straight, look for the Spur C sign and go right.

This campsite was a welcome relief after a day of traveling. Everything was clearly marked and the very clean porta-potty was a nice touch. We noticed a scorpion crawling on the tent in the middle of the night and I think we heard a rattlesnake in the distance, so be weary if you’re scared of critters. Waking up to the mountains in the distance was a great way to start the day.

Sally’s place was easy to reach off I10 but also extremely quiet which was just what we were looking for after a long day’s drive. We loved listening to the birds in the morning! Sally was very responsive to our last minute booking. We would definitely go back!

My husband found this while we were on our honeymoon. The land is nice soft sand and secluded. We stayed at the site by the bathroom and let me tell you it was by far the cleanest porta-potty I have EVER seen or used! The view of El Paso is beautiful from the site and the stars were bright! We will absolutely be back when we take our kids to Texas. Thank you for allowing us to stay on your property Sally!
