PECAN GROVE is a huge campsite in the shade of the pecan trees, beside the pond. There is a 10x10 deck and table to use. There is also a native sweat lodge built that only requires blankets to cover it. This site is closest to the outhouse.
If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking)
If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Leave your mark by adding something useful or decorative to your campsite. Whatever your camping desires, we can accommodate!

This property is primitive with 132 acres of prairie land, trees, a pond, a river, creeks, and wildlife.
We can accommodate RVs, camper vans, tents, or people who want to park and hike to a primitive camp spot.
Campsites are to the left of the entrance near the road; however, there is very little traffic as there are few neighbors. We offer fire pits at each campsite with some included firewood.
There is minimal light pollution, and stargazing is a must! Keep an eye out for petrified wood and arrowheads. If you're quiet enough, you might see some deer or other incredible wildlife.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Wendy and Kevin. They are super nice people and came by as I was getting checked in to make sure I got settled. When I accidentally left something at my site, Wendy reached out to me and we were able to get my items back to me. I am looking forward to my next trip to the area and will definitely be staying there again. The facilities clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful. I arrived in the dark and it was nice to make up to the rolling, tree-covered hills.

Wonderful camping spot near Hamilton. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. There’s even an indoor area to cook and relax. We were very happy here especially since it was so hot out. The tent sites were very leveled and clean. It had a picnic table and a fire pit and grill. Wendy was also a great hosts. I would recommend this place.

Price was very reasonable and site 1 was excellent. Stayed Friday until Sunday for great grandkids birthday party. The rv area was very well lit and clean.

Man this was such an awesome experience with surprises that didn't disappoint. We only booked this spot for convenience. Got there and found out that they had their own crappie house....which is free for anyone staying at HiLine. Also, they have boat launcher available. Need a guide? They have local recommendations. It was so serene. We stayed an extra couple of days. Oh and the restaurant King Krabz on the Lake left us desiring more. I'm not sure how they get the crabs so fresh all the way out here, but let me tell you something....everything on the menu is superb. We went there 2 nights and didn't have leftovers. Suzanne and Jim are freaking awesome. Can't wait to go back!
