For indoor washing, a five-gallon glass pitcher with a bowl serves as a rustic sink.
Sleeping is in the loft, up a steep staircase ladder, with a queen bed and lush linens. While not ADA-accessible and not suited for those needing special assistance, the setup is perfect for adventurous, able-bodied guests seeking a unique stay.
There are two other homes on the property, both occupied, but everyone respects each other’s privacy. No one will come to the treehouse during your stay. The owners live onsite in the main house and are available if you need anything, but will otherwise give you complete space.
The path to the treehouse is lit at night, but it can get very dark on the road—so bring a flashlight just in case.

It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking.
Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

Guests will sleep in a cozy loft with a comfortable full-size mattress (sleeps two). The daybed/sofa downstairs is just shy of a twin-size mattress and can sleep one person.
The kitchen offers a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and convection toaster oven for preparing simple meals. I provide coffee, tea, and a few simple snacks. There is a French press for coffee and an electric kettle for boiling water.
The bathroom has a small shower and toilet. Towels and toiletries are provided, and if there’s anything you forgot to pack for your trip, don’t hesitate to ask!
Wi-Fi is available. The TV is set up for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc.
The outdoor space has a picnic table and a hammock for lounging. Guests are welcome to cook out on the gas grill and use the outdoor fire pit. S’mores, anyone?
I hope you enjoy your tiny house experience. It’s the perfect getaway for solo trips, friend trips, or a romantic weekend with your favorite person.
If you are traveling with a sports rack on your vehicle, you are welcome to take the green kayaks out for the day (as long as they are secured and safely strapped to your vehicle).

My favorite part was listening to bigfoot recordings from 1975 on the provided cassette tapes while sitting around the fire. Also has a good supply of VHS tapes to watch on the provided little TV while it stormed outside.

We had an amazing stay and felt completely spoiled. It was the perfect mix of nature and comfort. We loved having our own bathroom, a mini kitchen area with microwave and refrigerator, and a coffee maker. My son and I really enjoyed the hiking trails, the community fire pit, and cooking meals on the community grills. The outdoor heaters under the kitchen shelter and the solar lights throughout the campsites were such a nice touch.
What impressed me most was how thoughtfully stocked everything was. We packed essentials like firewood and toilet paper, but they truly had it covered: septic-safe toilet paper, fresh towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, washcloths, trash bags, and even s’mores ingredients. We were welcomed with a fresh-cut rose and extra bedding for the futon, which made it feel extra special.
My son’s favorite part was pumping the well water for the community kitchen and using the fire pit skewers. We also loved the mini porch and back deck at the tent. No mosquito or bug issues at all. The only downside was no hot tub during our stay, but overall this was a wonderful experience and we’d absolutely come back.

We loved our stay at Nine Pine's Retreat! This would be a great place to invite a group of friends/couples to tag along for a weekend getaway! We stayed on a very cold night, and the tent stayed pretty warm. Our favorite part was the hot tub; it was a dreamy atmosphere tucked in the woods with string lights overhead. We grilled our dinner, ate in the tent and enjoyed the campfire. My husband and I stayed one night and truly enjoyed this nice getaway!

This was a very fun stay! Super cozy! We were only stopping by for a quick rest however this would make a great base camp to explore, all the decor and enmities were very well thought out and curated for the artsy mind with great touches of hospitality. Honestly would stay again and seek this quiet spot out. We were last minute getting there and late/early to leave and the host Todd was very polite and responsive. We had the best time at Sacred Dog Ranch this past weekend and feel like we made lifelong friends with Lisa and Gary. Our dog, Sage, played with his fellow Dal new friends, my daughter rode Fancy the gorgeous horse and we felt like instant family. Such a wonderful stay at the Happy Camper! Loved the colorful decorative touches! I found the property very peaceful with every amenity you could want for a fun glamping getaway. Sacred Dog Ranch is unreal! The hosts are the kindest people ever. We got to ride horses, hang out with the sweetest dogs, and even feed a fox (!!). We booked this site last minute and so glad we did. We enjoyed hearing the babbling brook while making a fire in the fire pit. Access to electricity and a restroom was huge and made the camping experience a bit more carefree not worrying if our backup power source would last. Although close to Franklin you forget where you are and feel you’re worlds away when you look up and see the stars shining so brightly. I would recommend and look forward to returning for longer weekend.

I had a great experience at Todd’s camper! The interior design inside was so cute and well thought out! It had everything you could need both inside and outside and was very inviting! The area is very peaceful and calming, especially sitting on the deck area with the trees and woods behind. The camper was able to sleep myself and my boyfriend as well as my teenage son and 2 of his friends! There were no issues! Would definitely recommend!
