If you’re curious about life on a family farm or just want to get some good quality time in with farm animals, this is the place to stay. Boondocking Your own RV is welcome to park riverside, we currently do not have hookups so you will be dry camping. You are also welcome to use our fire pit and restrooms if they are available, as guests staying in our glamping tents will have the option to reserve them. The restrooms have double compost toilets and an off grid hot shower heated by propane. You can check with us prior to making your reservation to see if other guests have already reserved these amenities for their stay. Camping Classic tent camping is a blast here! You can bring your own tent or rent one from us. This is the ultimate experience for living off the land and reconnecting with nature. You will have your own fire pit, and you will be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. When you stay overnight with us here on the farm you become part of our family. We want to make sure that you not only unwind but also get to take advantage of all the amazing things this beautiful homestead has to offer. You will have direct access to the river for kayaking, tubing, fishing, swimming, hiking, or just sitting along the bank enjoying the fresh air. Our family’s favorite activity is gathering by the fire pit at night, listening to the river, and gazing at the stars, which shine brighter here than anywhere we’ve ever been. We would love to share everything this peaceful place has with you. Waking up by the river is rejuvenating and is the perfect way to start your day as you reconnect with nature. While you’re perfectly welcome to cook all of your meals over a campfire for the full “roughing it” experience, we understand that there are times when you just want to kick back and relax. With that in mind, we also offer hot, home cooked family meals, delivered directly to your door upon request and at an additional expense. Tours Our farm is small but growing daily. We are striving to create a fully functional and self-reliant regenerative farm in an environment that is focused on soil health and increasing biodiversity, while peacefully existing and raising healthy and happy animals. River dining Sitting on the river bank enjoying a farm-to-table meal can be romantic or just plain fun. We offer a limited amount of lunches by the river as well as candlelit dinners. It’s hard to get a simple spot to pitch a tent for less than $30 these days. Staying here was definitely worth a few more dollars! The beds were surprisingly comfortable and even though we had temperatures in the low 30s one night the provided space heater with our propane tank kept us more than warm.

Harmony Hollow was a cute and comfortable weekend getaway. The campground is close to the parkway but set back so it feels like you're in a remote area. You can hear the traffic noise, but the road isn't really visible from the campsites. Harmony Hollow campground is essentially a big field with 3-4 campsites around the outside and a big open space in the middle. You will definitely see your neighbors unless you hike out to set up a primitive site on the property, but if you do then you will likely be visited by the horses. The bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink was a nice amenity. There was no toilet paper supplied but thankfully we brought our own. The shower is not well lit so bring a lantern if you want to shower after dark. The firewood shed was not stocked, but it is the end of the season so perhaps not much demand.

I thoroughly enjoyed camping at Carrie's. The campsite is gorgeous and peaceful--the perfect location for relaxation and soaking in some nature. We set up our hammock for some r and r, explored a nearby creek, and hiked the trail on the property. Carrie is so friendly and helpful. She provided water and there are potable hands pumps. There's an outhouse and you can purchase firewood, too. This experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Carrie!

This was my second stay at Rock Bottom, and I loved the improvements since my last visit—especially the updated bath house and the convenient water/sewer hookups. The camp hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and their pups are the sweetest! The view of the white rocks is absolutely stunning, and we love how close the campground is to the start of the trail. Highly recommend!

We really only slept here! But it was very pretty and quiet despite proximity to the road. It was super accessible from Gatlinburg/PF. The toilet/shower was great! We did worry we were bothering the people in the little cabin each time we started the pump. We noticed upon our arrival the firewood area wasn’t stocked, but some time over that first night wood appeared. The two little solar-powered lights in our site did not work, and none of the tiki torches would light. Something splashed around in the creek a couple times, but no crazy wildlife encounters.

We had a lovely time! Maynard, our host, was very kind and made us feel welcome. Firewood aplenty, running water, and two tables at the site. Very clean and well kept! Bonus points - we didn’t see any ticks after three days, impressive in TN. Our dogs enjoyed romping in the sun near our campsite. We could hear some neighboring hounds at night, and the nearby horses / donkey were sweet. Very quiet throughout the day. Would absolutely visit again!

My family of 4 and I enjoyed our stay at this property (4 year old and 8 year old included!) The property is 5 minutes or less from a Family Dollar and a Walmart market but is back off the main road far enough you don’t feel like you’re in the busy of everything. My kids loved the swing, hammock and being able to just run around all where we could keep an eye on them. You’re within 15 minutes (on a busy day) to Dollywood and Splash Country
