Camping on Kim’s land was a dream! Loved the platform for the tent and the table for preparing food. We saw owls and some beautiful deer came by for a visit. I def recommend getting the firewood as an add-on, it was already delivered to our site when we arrived. This is an actual private campsite and was so serene and peaceful. The location is very convenient to the National Park, the main drag of Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. We spent 3 nights here with two full days devoted to exploring the park. We enjoyed the full hookups for our Class B van and took advantage of the shower rooms. It is compact but very quiet - perhaps surprisingly so. Great value overall.

Such a great location: open, quiet (other than some noisy dogs), flat, spacious. Host was very pleasant, checked in on us, placed us in a more advantageous spot over near the barn, and even brought us firewood and had a nifty ignition system for it. Highly recommended, just bring a radio and roll those windows up if those neighbor’s dogs get a wild hair.

If you're looking for a no-frills yet convenient place to stay while exploring the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area, Holy Smokies Campground might be just what you need. This small, low-key campground has all the essentials for a pleasant stay, including full hookups, level sites, and clean, new shower facilities. While there aren’t fire pits available, each site features a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the great outdoors and unwinding after a day of adventures. One of the standout features of Holy Smokies is the seamless arrival process. Before our trip, we received a text detailing our assigned site along with door codes for the shower houses and laundry. There was no need for a traditional check-in, which made our experience even more smooth and hassle-free. Upon arrival, we encountered a minor issue with the water at our site. However, reaching out to the Host proved to be easy; they arrived promptly and resolved the issue in minutes. It's clear that the Hosts are dedicated to improving the campground and ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. We were assigned Site 2, conveniently located near the access road. While this meant occasional noise and headlights, the campground has installed a privacy fence that mitigates some of those disturbances. The site is level and offers a mix of partial to full sun. Recommended for a budget friendly, convenient location to local attractions.

It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Nestled on a sprawling 30-acre property, our campground offers a unique blend of natural beauty and thoughtfully designed camping experiences. We are committed to developing our site in phases to ensure a perfect balance of comfort and wilderness. The first phase, known as the Prairie, is located at the front of the property and features 21 campsites. This includes 8 full hook-up sites, 1 full hook-up designated for our camp host, 3 primitive sites for those seeking a more rustic experience, and 9 sites equipped with water and electric connections. Looking ahead, our second phase, called the Woodlands, will primarily consist of full hook-up sites, with a few primitive and water/electric only options available. While this phase is still under development, we are excited about the additional opportunities it will provide for campers. For your convenience, we have a shower house that includes an office, two individual bathrooms, and four private shower/toilet facilities. Initially, our amenities will be limited to the shower house and a designated pet area, allowing guests to enjoy the serene surroundings without distractions. Whether you're looking for outdoor activities, nearby swimming holes, or local dining and shopping options, our campground serves as the perfect base for your adventures.
