We have added multiple tree swings throughout the forest.
We are uniquely situated on the edge of the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee river valley. We are currently offering 4 treehouse dwellings to share our peaceful land full of God's promises. The dwellings are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet not to far of a walk to the common area where the kitchen and shower are. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area.
Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill.
A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer!

There are two 50-amp RV connections with water. Each RV spot has a table, chairs, and fire ring. Currently, there is no dump station, but both north and south on I-75 there are truck stops with dump stations less than 10 miles away.
There is plenty of tent/self contained camper space with morning shade and afternoon sun in the front. Those are farthest from the portable toilet and wash station. There are 3 tent spots with mostly shade in the back closest to portable toilet and wash station. Tent campers have access to the gas grill or the common area fire pit or fired grill.
Donkey trail rides are offered by neighbors at “Donkey Listener”. Enjoy scenic rides to popular attractions and roads such as the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Bald River Falls. There anre many waterfalls, hiking trails, rivers, and countryside. Also nearby are plenty of water activities, such as paddle boating, canoeing, whitewater rafting, fishing, and boating. Tourism is endless: come enjoy East Tennessee.
I’m a poultry hobbyist, so only dogs under 12 pounds are allowed and they must be leashed. There are free-range chickens, ducks, turkeys, and two small dogs on the property. I also raise Red Golden Phoenix and Tennessee Red quail. You are responsible for damages if your pet kills livestock.
This is a laid-back place run by a one-legged chicken tender. A sense of humor is required.

Weekend Trip to Awakening Adventures
It was a lovely escape from the city. Just me and my pup, who unfortunately doesn't care for other dogs, and the owners were super kind about putting their sweet pups up so she could have the freedom to live her best life too.
The treehouse is the perfect size and has everything you need to just relax. The porch faces away from the other sites so even with another group there, it didn't feel like I was in a fishbowl. The hiking trails are nice and there's plenty of them to just escape into the woods.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and if you're just trying to escape the noise for a chill spot to light a fire and stare into the void for a while, I highly recommend it.

Had a great time at the cabin. We came in the off season on a rainy weekend that turned pretty cold, but overall it was a great stay. The cabin was very easy to find, had plenty of firewood (absolute must, no insulation) and secluded enough from the main part of the property to really provide that peace and quiet we were looking for. It could use a little tlc, but again, we came in the off season so it's hard to take any points off for that. Would absolutely stay here again.

Pick up your groceries at Ingles in Town before heading up. 4 Wheel drive a must. Low 4WD better. We got our 33.5 foot rig up to the site with little trouble. Graham is very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our quiet weekend at the Cove at Dick Branch. With only 4 sites, it is far from the crammed parking-lot experience of many mountain-view RV campgrounds. You are surrounded by nature, but have full RV hook-ups (30 amp). It was a huge plus for us that our dog did not have to be constantly on-leash. He had a wonderful time chasing frisbees and balls up and down the hillside. Potential campers should be aware that Site 1 and 2 are in close proximity, but would be perfect for friends camping together. Also take the description of the access road at its word. It is gravel and steep getting in and out of the property. We had a 21ft travel trailer and could negotiate without any problem. If you are wanting a home base for day hiking in the Nantahala National Forest, it is an excellent choice. I would definitely camp here again.

We had a great time camping with friends and especially liked how secluded it was. Hiking along the snowbird to waterfalls was a real treat. Our campers fit just fine and spots were nice, but I wouldn't want to bring anything too big up there. The water tasted great and the dogs loved being off leash.

We had great weather, great views, it was quiet, and had a great time kayaking and fishing. I look forward to visiting her site in the future!

Great little spot to relax or spend time with close ones. Took my two girls, ages 6 and 9, and they loved it! Hosts are extremely friendly and thoughtful with how they've appointed this little piece of land! We want to go back!

Kaleigh’s property was a big hit with our crew. My 8 year old girl said it was the best campsite she’s been to. Loved how quiet it was with hardly anybody around. The lake we had all to ourselves and was great for fishing and swimming. The kids definitely had fun with the trampoline and zip line. We had to rig something up for the zip line so the kids didn’t smack in to the tree, otherwise it was good fun!

Had a wonderful weekend at Kaiabunga Kamp Site 1! Upon arrival someone had left black eyed Susan’s in a glass bottle on the camp table which brightened my day immediately being my favorite flowers!! Our young boys really enjoyed the amenities! Really great setup! Directions were super clear especially with losing cell service! Had a few drive in visitors with the cabin for sale right next to the site which surprised us being at the end of the road and it was so close. Lake was accessible. Kaleigh was super helpful and responsive too!!

The treehouse shower was awesome!
The area is very close to some waterfalls that I hope to explore next time.

3 nights at The Barn at Huffman Creek Retreat
Such a beautiful property. The Barn is a really sweet, charming cabin. The moss in the front, the creek on the side, bigger creek across the street, lofted beds, outdoor shower. A great blend of rustic with modern comforts. We hope to be back

The Cowgirl was completely sucluded as advertised. Only us and the wildlife. Dogs had plenty of room to roam off leash as well. They loved it. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Amy was very responsive. Would definitely Glamp here again. :)

This was the perfect back wood experience :) Site was clean and well maintained. We hammock and tent camped this spot. Our kids enjoyed the swings... actually they enjoyed everything! Having access to the outdoor kitchen made breakfast a breeze. Anthony and his wife were so hospitable! Both the blooming flowers and morning fellowship were beautiful. Our kiddos are eager to make a return trip

I absolutely loved the Stargazing Cabin! I was looking for a night to get away from everything and have a chance to just think, and thats exactly what I got. I went on a rainy weekend, and the sound of the rain mixed with the string lights and open curtains made for the most perfect, cozy evening. The common area is close enough to feel safe, but still secluded from the cabin. There was an abundance of small fans provided, and comfortable seating. I also loved the shower tree house! So much thought and love seemed to go into building this place. Can't wait to come back!
