Quiet area of Valle Crucis. It is just 2 miles from the original Mast General Store. Larger units must back in carefully between the guard rail and the ditch. The lot had some damage from Helene.
This is a parking lot of an old church and sits by two small creeks.
Maximum stays are up to 6 nights. No water, no septic. No generators are allowed.
Large concrete pad/parking lot for RV and an extra car or two. This is a campsite only, an RV is not included. We have electricity but no water or septic. In the spring, summer, and fall - We have a toilet and hand-washing sink inside the building that you may use if you select this as an "add-on". A code to enter the building will be sent if you add this feature. This site does not have potable water and does not have a shower. The closest public bathrooms are at Valle Crucis Community Park. Mountain Dog Coffee and Holloway Corner Kitchen are private, but good places to start your day with coffee and/or food.
Please respect our neighbors by limiting noise. This lot is private, but you may see or hear the neighbors.
Dogs must always be on a leash when outside your RV or car.
There are no garbage cans or trash pick-up; pack it out, please. The trash/convenience center is about 2 miles away on 194 for you to take your garbage.
We DO NOT advise taking Clarks Creek Rd. from 105 to get to this location. You must travel to Clarks Creek through Valle Crucis via 194. You must also detach any trailer or towed items a mile or so before the camp spot and before the switchbacks. Please view the map and be comfortable with travel to our campsite. There are sections of the road with no shoulder and pit holes due to current construction/road work.
There is very limited cellular service in this area. WiFi & WiFi calling should work fine.

We do also provide hand sanitizer as a back up. The outdoor shower is only open typically from April through October. In addition, the only form of heat is a wood burning stove with starters and wood provided, so it will be your responsibility to make sure that the stove keeps burning with wood as to keep the dome warm. This most likely will entail getting up at least once a night to stoke/put wood on the fire. On very hot summer days the dome can get very warm inside. We have a high powered fan and black out curtains to help but it still can get very warm. Best to utilize the outdoor space in the late morning/early afternoon hours or use this time to explore the area. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING!
Also, there may be some bugs that you see. Especially stink bugs in September and October. We do our best to keep bugs out, yet this is a Glamping experience which is between camping and a typical Airbnb experience so please plan/pack/expect accordingly. Thanks!

We spent Halloween weekend at Jeremy and Terra's mountaintop glamper and it was incredible! The mountain views were stunning everyday, even with the rain our first day and the privacy was outstanding! Close enough to town if you need anything and far enough away to be and feel secluded. The glamper was perfect and cozy and I loved sitting in bed and enjoying what I called "nature's TV" out the front of the glamper. We could not have had or asked for a better experience in what was our first vacation in 2 years. Even our German Shepherd had a wonderful time.
Jeremy and Terra are outstanding hosts, made us feel at home, and checked in with us in the morning to make sure we had everything we needed! They made sure the glamper was stocked and clean! We highly recommend staying with them and we will most definitely be going back!
One caution, if going while raining or during the winter months, you definitely want a 4WD or AWD as the gravel up to the mountain is a little steep and can be a little difficult with any kind of precipitation. Our little Nissan Versa stick-shift wasn't happy about the climb lol.

True primitive campsite with the ability to camp wherever your feet or vehicle can make it. I stayed at the furthest point past the pond. Parked right next to a babbling brook and took in the peace.
He has scrap wood (dry) for fires, a workshop bathroom w/hot water.
David was a fantastic host and appreciate him giving us the opportunity to stay on his land.

We loved our 2-night stay at Nolichucky. The property was beautiful and quiet, and our host Pam was warm and welcoming to us and our dogs. We enjoyed lounging around the various sitting areas around the pavilion, too. The next time we are near Greeneville, we will stay here again!

They really thought about all of the small detail details (fresh flowers, umbrella, extra sleeping bags, cookware, spices, coals and lighter fluid for grill, shampoo and conditioner in the amazing outdoor shower…) and made this experience great. The view is unparalleled. Phenomenal stargazing. The inside is so cute and the wood-burning stove was great to have on the chilly night. Would have loved to spent more time there.

Our stay was truly unforgettable. Waking up to the breathtaking views each morning felt like a dream, and sharing those moments with my family made it even more special. The cozy setup struck the perfect balance between comfort and adventure. The kids loved roasting marshmallows under the stars, and we loved sipping coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains. It was the perfect escape, and the memories we made together will stay with us for a long time.

We had a great overnight stay! Cheryl is a fantastic host who was very attentive to our requests. Additionally, she communicated with us to solve a problem we had created with the bathroom lock late at night. We really appreciated the help when she could have just let it go until the morning!!!!
The sound of the creek at night was spectacular. Set up was so easy. While the site is just off the road - there’s little to no traffic to cause any disturbance. We will stay here again. Thanks, Cheryl!

The property is beautiful with lots of options for where to set up camp! I wish it was a little more maintained to make things easier, but we did book last minute.
Camping here feels like you are super remote just enjoying sounds of nature and seeing stars. Definitely make sure you get to the place prior to sunset as there’s no signage or lights.

Pastoral farmland isn't typically my go to for camping, but I was looking for a spot that offered a dose of nature while having enough connectivity to allow me to work remotely and this spot fit the bill! Cell service was not really strong but was adequate, and the spot had clear skies which allowed me to use starlink for faster speeds.
The property is nice and the directions were good. We had no issues finding or accessing the property.
The spot is farm land with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Gorgeous sunsets and peaceful days. The site listing mentions trails. If they exist, I didn't find them but the driveway is long enough to make for an enjoyable evening or morning stroll down and back. Wildflowers, honeysuckles and fragrant evergreens surround the property edges and make the stroll more pleasant.
The property is well maintained and had everything we needed.
Located a short driving distance to other scenic areas like the paint creek corridor and jones meadow. We also enjoyed driving around the immediate area which is very picturesque farm country.
A few things to be aware of - the parking pad was not very level, bring leveling blocks if you are not in a tent. Its on the edge of working farm and an equestrian facility. There are farmers doing farmer things and equestrians doing equestrian things. These were not disruptive to our stay in any way, but campers should know these are possibilities.

Trust Cheryl’s directions! Very private spot with sounds of babbling brook adjoining. We look forward to staying again. Our 28’ travel trailer was easily accommodated. 50 amp hookup, with strong WiFi, but no water or sewer which was fully disclosed and no problem for our 4 day stay. Loved it, and loved clear communication throughout!
