We are located about 11 miles from exit 116 on interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee where there's an abundance of wildlife including our own team of Khaki Campbell guard ducks and a piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required at all times for those with paddle please. Canoe rentals available upon request.
Camp sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance and offer gravel roads and parking. Look for the LAL logo on the left gate post.
Camp site #4 the hiking trailhead and our back country campsites are located at the east entrance. Look for patriotic fence post near the road. If you end up traveling a long paved road that leads to a boat ramp with lots of parking, you zigged when you should have zagged. Turn around and lazy acres is across from where that road ends. Follow the access road along the tree line down to the water. The hiking trail is to the east across the footbridge. Look for white AT style blazes for trail markers. The blue blazes leading to each campsite.

Very tall pine trees on this property. A lot of wildlife pass through the camp everyday. A lot of history in this part of Tennessee. If you're into fishing there's a lot of lakes around here, even kayaking. Friendly little town called Lexington is 10 minutes away, good southern food. 2 hours from Memphis and 2 hours from Nashville. There's always someone here on the land to watch your trailer while you're out exploring. Very safe area and quiet!

Back-in only, not enough room to turn around in driveway, experienced in backing into the spot a must. Full Hook-ups on the right side of property is 1/2-acre with full hook-ups. Will accommodate a 28 ft camper. Gravel driveway, you will need 4-wheel drive to back your camper in. Lots of trees with plenty of shade. Pets are welcome, must be on leash and picked up after. Paris Landing State Park is an 841-acre park located on the western shore of the Tennessee River, which is dammed to form Kentucky Lake (160,000 acres). The park sits on the widest part of the lake making it the perfect location for all water sports such as fishing, boating, and waterskiing. The park also offers a beautiful and challenging par 72, 18-hole golf course, and hiking trails. The park pro shop provides golfing supplies, lessons, rental clubs, and carts.

We popped in late for an overnight stay. Greeted by Bob, a super friendly host, with yummy homemade cookies in hand (thanks to his wife). Some nearby road sounds carried at night with tent camping, likely would not be heard in an RV.
Driving out the next morning we got a glimpse of the nearby town and it looked super cute with quaint shops, nice vibes, worth checking out.

33 Beautiful horses, many colts, and a Clydesdale. Got a tour of the stables. Easy in and out, quiet, nice and level spot for our rig. Electric if you need it. But we just boon docked. Very friendly and interesting people.

We absolutely loved our time at Cassie’s special pavilion! It was perfect for us as we have family in the area. BUT, even if we were just passing through…it was an awesome spot with everything we needed! It was peaceful, and semi private. We loved sitting outside in the morning drinking our coffee and enjoying the quiet time.
It’s close to many handy things as well. CVS, a grocery store, dollar store, Macdonald’s were all very close. I found a laundromat in town that was very clean and reasonably priced also.
Cassie and Brian were great hosts and very responsive. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

This spot has lots of trees, a covered patio with a fan, lights, and a really nice fire pit with tons of wood and kindling. It’s a flat concrete pad with full hook ups. Cassie is quick to respond. We felt safe here.

Beautiful, country setting close to restaurants & groceries. Loved the heated pool and bathroom! It also has a full size refrigerator, a grill and small microwave. Shauna and her husband were very pleasant to work with and had lots of fun stories to share. We can't wait to camp here again.

Wonderful Hosts and Peaceful Stay at Covered Bridge Pavilion”
We had an amazing stay at the Covered Bridge Pavilion. The site had everything we needed with full hookups, a covered pavilion for relaxing and dining, and a fire ring stocked with wood for perfect nights by the fire. What really made it special was Brian and Cassie. They were wonderful hosts who came over to visit with us and made us feel right at home. The property itself is quiet and beautiful with trails to explore, and it is also close to Wilson Park, disc golf, and the farmers market. For RV travelers who enjoy peaceful surroundings and great hospitality, this spot is a gem. We will definitely be back!

Lane and Dan's property is a beautiful place for a respite from your routine. Lane and Dan are great hosts and will make you feel at home. They have provided a sparkling clean pool and unique bathhouse (that even has a washing machine) and full hookups at the two shaded gravel RV sites.
Away from cable TV and WiFi, nature takes the stage at The Getaway. From your campsite you can watch the fish jumping in the pond, deer strolling across the grounds and thousands of butterflies fluttering about. At night, the dark is broken only by the moon and billions of stars above.
The only downside was that the brutal heatwave during our stay limited our outdoor activity. We will visit again.

Stopped here for an over night. Newer pavilion with fire pit area and laundry building with new Maytag units included for guests. Quiet location. Entrance to site was on incline, but site C was relatively easy to level with slight adjustment. Host was friendly & communicated well. Allowed us our choice of open sites and informed us that app map recognizes neighbors property as site, but it's a little further up the road. Found it just fine with that info.

I camped here with my husband and two young daughters. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They were quick to give us a tour of the area and the specifics of the amenities offered. They periodically checked in with us during our stay to see how it was going or if we needed anything. Great people.
There were canoes and two fishing poles, with lures, to use in both of their fish-filled ponds. They graciously offered us use of their fridge/freezer and some refreshments and popsicles inside.
The salt water pool was everything you could want. A large 3 ft area for standing along with a deeper end for the slide and spring board. They offered several pool toys and life jackets. We were in the pool nonstop.
The bathroom was clean and stocked with travel size soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and make up wipes. The pavilion kitchen was large with a microwave, toaster oven, and table top propane BBQ grill.
The RV parking spot was well maintained gravel with a 50 amp hookup. Water connection if needed.
We made such wonderful memories here. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and grazing horses was an absolute dream. The girls had an amazing time swimming, fishing, looking at the horses and running around the well maintained property. We will be back!
