Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, locally sourced honey, and ask us about some home cooked meals! Big East Fork is a preserved natural space dedicated to connecting people to Tennessee's beautiful wilderness. Ten private parcels were cobbled together, originally built as private residences and farmstead. All houses are available for rent and camping sites are located near by. Twenty miles of hiking trails wind throughout the forest, leading campers by the lake, creeks, and seasonal and perennial small waterfalls. THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PAST CUSTOMERS 😊##### We are closed for the season######## Brand name Bell 16 foot round tent built on sturdy cedar deck on top of a cluster of large limestone rocks in beautiful grove of mostly Maple and Oak trees. My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, locally sourced honey, and ask us about some home cooked meals! We ask that you please close up all windows and doors when you check out😊

Great area to explore and thankful for a safe location to park the rv with hookups. Jenny and Tim made everything feel like home. They were closeby and helpful when needed however allowed for privacy . The dogs were able to explore the field and be a little feral in nature.

this place was perfect for our 25ft rv and our dogs! they enjoyed the wide open space and were very interested in the goats and chickens. the space was a little less private than i would prefer but it wasn’t an issue at all. robert was very nice and attentive, we loved this site and will definitely be back!

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. What a great spot! The site and surrounding community are beautiful and peaceful. We spent several days here and worked remotely. The wi-fi was fast and reliable making this a great space for teleworkers looking for a dose of nature to break up the workday. We enjoyed long walks on the surrounding dirt roads and quiet nights around the camp fire. This place was everything we could have asked for!

We had a GREAT stay!! Jon-Roy was very responsive and helpful. It was cool to see the cows!! And the tent was exactly as described and even had a heater which we never used because the tent held enough heat (even though it was a little chilly outside). The amenities were great and he really thought of everything. We got a great night sleep and will definitely be back. The little walk to the site wasn’t bad at all. Definitely glad we got there in the daytime otherwise it would have been tough to get to it. We loved our quiet little escape and will be back!

I've been using Hip Camp for two years, and this was by far the most beautiful place I've stayed. I was met by the hosts who helped me back in and make sure everything was ready for me. Perfect level pad with full hook-ups. Only 2 sites, and I was the only one there. Very peaceful with a really pretty forest with trails behind my site. I highly recommend this location. I hope to come back someday!

The spot was more than perfect. Enjoyed the crisp fall sunrises and sunsets with the light dancing through the trees. The place was extremely beautiful with the tall bluffs the crystal clean water.
