Beautiful location at the end of a very nice gravel road. Quiet, great sunrise and sunset settings at the base of Crow Peak. Laure was very prompt in replying when I had questions. Full hook ups are a total plus.

We had a marvelous, peaceful stay at Laure's hipcamp, surrounded by beautiful trees and hills. We've stayed on this property before and loved it so much that we returned. In addition, Laure is a great communicator. We highly recommend this hipcamp!

First, Laura is an excellent host. Great communication throughout. Her husband even sent a site location map before my arrival. This was extremely helpful finding where i was supposed to be. It also helped understand where to enter the property as the site seems to have a geocode versus physical address. All in all, I was able to get settled in about 10 minutes which is a personal best 🤣
The location is situated in a beautiful area, off the beaten path - literally. It's excellently maintained with water and electricity easily available. Unlike every site I've been to, the hosts actually provided an adaptor for those not prepared (I was but there was a time...)
The only minor things I'd do differently or change are:
1.) I'd is choose one of the other 2 sites (which were available). Both are more open than the one I had which is near a building (albeit a very slick black garage).
2.) I had to be careful walking my dogs, even though on leashes, due to the electric fencing (which I understand the need for).. in a perfect world, there'd be a place to walk them less stressfully...minor.
Overall this is great place and clear why its so highly rated.

This Hipcamp does it right. I just wrapped up a 8,000 cross country trip and this spot is the standard other should be judged by. Easy access, full, well maintained hook-ups and great views.

The site was amazing! We ended up booking both 1 and 3, per a recommendation from another review. We sat and watched the sunset in the Black Hills every night. You are within an hour of the main attractions of the area and Spearfish Canyon was beautiful.

This spot was amazing. We ended up booking both site 1 & 3 to be completely alone and it was perfect. You can watch the sunset on the Black Hills every night or take a walk on the public land right next to it every morning with your dogs. You are within an hour of major Black Hill attractions but Spearfish Canyon is right down the road and worth the visit as well. Laure was very easy to communicate and get a hold of if we needed anything. We will be back!
