Piper's pond was a wonderful place to camp. Very relaxing out there watching the ducks swim on the pond and relaxing by the campfire in the evening. The hosts were wonderful, very easy to talk to and their place was well maintained. We would recommend them to others.

Great place to camp on the lake! Plenty of parking for the boat and close to several ramps. I plan on staying again for the next tournament on Murray. Also very nice to have the pup off leash!

Great location close to Congaree National Park
Site had everything we needed-water, electricity & composting toilet was super clean.
I wish we’d brought fishing gear, as pond was stocked with lots of fish! Also would’ve used kayak if I had waterproof sandals…
Highly recommend Dargan’s site!

Wonderful, cozy campsite. Off the road enough to keep it quite. The lights on the oaks was extra special! The Host communicated perfectly and made me feel welcome, like it was his living room! Lots of room to have a large family camp or a couple of families camping together.

We always have a wonderful time. We love the swing and we love to be able to use the bathroom anytime we need to camping spot is perfect nice and flat this time it rained on us 90% of the time but we still had a great time.

We camped our way from the Everglades to northern Michigan and this was by far my favorite hip camp. An old farm house under a giant magnolia, surrounded by oak trees. It was like something out of a country song. I will be back to South Carolina and I have so much comfort knowing I have a good safe place to rest my head.

My family and I absolutely loved camping at Too many oaks! The secluded beautiful forest of South Carolina was everything we dreamed of! Comfortable, quiet, and well equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and wide open space! Quick response from host and super friendly!

The property was really a great location for our group that were overall new to camping with amenities nearby to pickup groceries or go to a diner when needed! We really enjoyed taking turns on the row boat, and playing card games and monopoly in the cabin area at night. The campsite felt really private, but there was some barking from dogs nearby at night, and sometimes gunshots.
Alex, the owner, was very responsive and helpful in finding local activities and resolving any issues we had during the stay!

This was a BEAUTIFUL site! The hosts were gracious and the grounds were perfect. A nice surprise was the kayak and flat bottom boat to toy around on the pond. The compostable toilet was well kept and a big plus. Loved having a grill and picnic table! There was extra firewood to use as well. Highly recommend!

It's great! Not crowded like the parks with RV's packed 15 feet away from one another and no campers walking through your campsite. The host family was super friendly. There were about 12 deer near the campsite in the morning. The kids loved seeing them.

Got in after dark, light on at the mailbox and sites made it easy to find! Very convenient to have a real bathroom nearby. Sites were level and very comfortable for tent camping.

Great place to pop in for the night. This site has everything you need - electricity, water, fire pit + wood, picnic table, lights, and some activities. Michael was even so kind as to offer us his bathroom and kitchen to use while he was away. I would recommend!

Beautiful! Clean! The grass was so soft. Perfect for barefoot walking. Bees and dragonflies buzzing in harmony, like surround sound, while fishing. Lots of big fish being caught all around me making kids squeal and laugh. I became the personal chef for a sneaky, pond turtle who loved my bait. Taking pictures of the beauty was my favorite experience.
100% recommend.

This was one of our favorite Hipcamp experiences. This was wonderful site with a lake immediately beside our camper. Our hosts were extremely welcoming, and if you’re headed to Congaree National Park, this cuts the drive time nearly in half from the State Parks. Bring your leveling tools as it does need a lift because of the beautiful sloping area around the lake. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful setting for several nights.
