Travelers Rest offers a broad range of outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, or simply enjoying a walk along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Don't forget to stop by our favorite taproom, The Community Tap, located downtown Travelers Rest. Our property currently consist of 1 campsite along a gravel/dirt road. Weekend Trip to Patient Wait Regenerative Farm

Car camping, Driving from Nola to Philly to visit family. Gail’s place was my 1/2 way point with easy access to I-85. Loved the welcoming committee of farm animals & felt very safe with Duke, Duchess & Princess on guard. The bathroom & shower were roomy & very clean. Star gazing & peaceful quiet was perfect!

2 nights at Patient Wait Regenerative Farm

This was an excellent getaway for myself and my wife. Lovely animals, very sweet dogs. Chickens, turkeys, horses, donkey, sheep, goats. Only downsides were things that couldn’t be fixed by the host. millions of fire ants, fairly long walk from the parking area to the camp area (though they helped us unload everything), and close enough to the highway that all the cars could be heard. But overall, an excellent experience, lovely people, and we will be back for sure.

4 nights at Patient Wait Regenerative Farm

Gail‘s land was beautiful. It was nice to be around all the animals. Gail and her husband were very friendly. They showed me around and even took my gear down to the campsite in their mini truck. I had access to a private nice bathroom with a shower which was great because I was in town attending a seminar. Just a note about the set up, there was a walk from my car to the pavilion and then to my campsite. It wasn’t too far, but it is a walk. Don’t expect to drive your car right up to the campsite. I didn’t have a lot of gear so it wasn’t much of an issue, but if you are planning on keeping anything in your car, it will be a short walk.

Patient Wait Farm is a beautiful place with farm animals and a great area to camp! Gail is so helpful and friendly! She was so kind and even helped up get our gear back to the campsite!
