It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Welcome to my peaceful homestead in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This rustic studio space I affectionately call Chicken Church, has been a labor of love, using all the materials I have collected from my many construction projects over the years... and many states. My friends all know who to pass the junk along to. The space is heated with a wood stove and has an antique 1922 wood cook stove--do you know how to cook on one? The kitchen is set up with a sink, water kettle and cooking amenities, including an electric stove. Bathroom amenities: cold water sink and toilet. No shower inside, but there is an outdoor shower, propane heated. (NOTE: Heater gets removed at first 32° and won't be available in November.) The main house on the property is within 200 feet, where I share the space with Airbnb guests. There is a close neighbor family to the left, about 250 feet away. Because my property is in a residential neighborhood, respect for neighbors and other guests is greatly appreciated. Outside, you’ll feel an instant sense of peace and tranquility surrounded by horses, happy, free ranging chickens, abundant woods, gardens, ponds with some new baby geese chicks soon, open lawns and a fire pit for your restful getaway. I have a pup who monitors the outdoors... and to keep it uncomplicated, i cannot accept other pets. Asheville is about a 12 minute drive: Known as the craft beer capital in the US, there is no shortage of breweries. You don't have to go very far to find a plethora of trails in this town, including the mountain to sea trail which is easily accessible from this neighborhood. The farm to table scene is amazing... so much good food! Eat! Eat! Eat!

Located on family land granted by King Charles in 1685 we have worked hard to restore and refurbish in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land that they sit on. Hand crafting doors and furniture the way the family did it 140 plus years ago. The history of this place is deep, even the nails for the cabin and farm house that is now the clubhouse were hand crafted by my great grandfather in his blacksmith shop, along with the wagon wheels, horse shoes, misc farm utensils etc... there was no running out to Lowes to pick up what was needed, it was made in the blacksmith shop. We love riding ATV's and SXS's on the trails on the mountains that I grew up on with my 3 brothers, we hope the people who visit and experience the mountains feel about them the way we do, we love em. We like to give riding tours and talking about the mountain and its challenges. We named the park from the famous product that was created here during prohibition, Cherry Bounce Moonshine. You can visit some of the original still sites on the mountain, of course they are not operational today. About the adventure co side, We are an adrenaline pumping ATV and SXS park with 25+ miles of mountainous trails at four skill levels; Green (Easy), Blue (Challenging), Black Diamond (Very Difficult) and Double Black Diamond (Most Difficult). You can bring your own ATV or SXS or rent one of ours. We have cabins & camp sites that are accessed by ATV or SXS on the mountains as well as hiking or biking. We do not allow jeeps, trucks or dirt bike motorcycles on the mountain, just ATV's and SXS vehicles.

Welcome to our private hobby farm in beautiful Edneyville, NC! The FarmHouse Retreat is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home that comfortably sleeps up to ten guests. Inside, you’ll find a king bed, queen bed, full bed, and a full-over-full bunk bed—perfect for families or groups of friends. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home, from a cozy living room and full kitchen to modern amenities that make relaxing easy. As you arrive, you’ll turn onto our private drive and enter through a secure gate. The FarmHouse Retreat is the first home on your right, with animal pastures directly across the driveway. Outside, enjoy evenings around the fire pit, peaceful country views, and the unique sights and sounds of farm life. Our property is alive with animals! You’ll meet our horses, mini donkeys, goats, pig, chickens, geese, and even our emu—plus Minnie, our sweet livestock guardian dog who roams the farm and loves to greet guests. Kids and adults alike love watching the animals play and wander. While you’re welcome to walk along the fence lines to get close, please don’t feed them for their safety. We (your hosts, Jonathan and Tonya) live here on the farm, along with a few other rental homes on the property. Each home is private, and we ask that guests respect others’ space while still enjoying everything our farm has to offer. The FarmHouse Retreat combines rustic charm, farm life, and modern comfort in one unforgettable setting. Whether you’re here to relax by the fire pit, sip coffee on the porch as the animals stir, or explore Hendersonville, Chimney Rock, and Asheville just a short drive away, this is a mountain getaway you won’t forget.
