104 acres of private land for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. The property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw, 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. The road is gravel all the way to the camping area with signs for directions. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. Reserve your spot and experience the peace and quiet of the outdoors and listen to the turkeys and watch the deer feed in early mornings while the sun rises. If you have any questions feel free to message me! There is only one spot if you book you will have the entire property for you and your party.

No size limit and pets are welcome, the front and back yards are fenced off for our dogs as well and the driveway is gated. The woods are walkable for the adventurous but there are no walking paths. My 4th time visiting Joseph’s camp and hopefully not the last. This space could easily be a dozen campsites but you get the entire site to yourself! This time we got to enjoy s’mores by the campfire and test our new tent. If you visit on a clear night and the moon is full you don’t even need a flashlight to see outside. Perfect area for letting the dog run also!

The area was cleared and level for a tent or even a camper. Jeff had a fire pit already set up to use. You are able to see the Moon and stars in the country area he has cleared out. Easy to located. It was very peaceful and the nature of the birds, crickets and the hoot owl were amazing! We would recommend this camp site to anyone!!!

This is my 3rd time coming back, this time with my friend and his family. We had a great peaceful day by the pond. Plenty of firewood provided for us upon arriving. Joseph is always quick to respond to any questions and is available to make your stay the best it can possibly be!

This was everything and more than we thought it would be. An easy access with drive through site was a perfect for our long skoolie; there is enough parking space for few more buses like our. The campsite felt private and spacious. We kept our Skoolie near the camp fire in upper part of the property near the quiet private road, and went tent camping with my wife and dog for one night near the river. We are boondockers loving the nature and privacy.
This location was perfect for our needs. We will come back again for sure.

My husband and I had an amazing weekend camping on Joseph’s beautiful property! It’s private and secluded, and provided the perfect layout for our tent camping (just a note to bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to the sounds of nature :-)). We also brought our kayaks and had a lovely time on the water. Joseph is super kind, helpful, and responsive. The property is close to necessities like groceries and gas, and also somewhat close to beaches if you want to diversify your trip. We did go offsite for a bit to check out Makai Brewing, which we thought had some great beers. We loved our time at Joseph’s place so much that we made a second booking before finishing our first!

We tent camped on Joseph's land with our 2 dogs and we had a great time. Every once in a while you can hear a little noise from the road but you can't find a more private camp spot without hiking deep into the woods. The weather turned hot just in time for our trip but we brought some tubes and really enjoyed fishing, floating and just relaxing for a few days. The covered shelter was also a welcome bonus. We would gladly camp here again and our dogs loved it too!

Wonderful camp site that’s private , secluded and peaceful. No one around and dogs are allowed off leash . The pond was perfect for my dogs to cool off and play. The site is clean and the owner supplied fire wood.
The morning mist from the pond and the sun rising was breathtaking. The access road is easy, just follow the arrows once you turn onto the property. I failed to do that and got lost BUT that was my own fault .

The property is nice and secluded, we were able to get a 35ft 5th wheel camper back to the camping spot. I did drag the rear jacks a couple of times on the dirt road in but nothing major. Caught several bluegill and a couple of small bass. My wife me, and 3 dogs definitely enjoyed the getaway! We will hopefully be back in the fall for some tent camping!
