There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more then welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). I came here in early November and wound up extending my stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. Connie and Jeff have a beautiful well maintained piece of property with plenty of level ground for the camper. There were several trails I explored with my pets and plenty of wood for fires at night. Plus only a 15 minute drive to the beach. It felt very private and safe the whole time I was there. I hope to be back someday!

Fern Getaway was the perfect spot for us! We are beginner campers and it was really nice to have amenities available to make the experience a little more comfortable. The shower, compost toilet, and grilling station were a gamechanger. Definitely would recommend staying here! Bring food to cook and s'mores for campfire. The shower is cool / lukewarm but it felt great after spending the day in the sun! It's only a 30-35 min drive to Cherry Grove Beach

This was a great experience! The yurt was awesome and the hosts had everything you would need to enjoy yourself. It rained for the 2 days we were there, but the yurt stood strong with no leaks. I loved listening to the rain on the tent at night. The short walk to separate cottage had a fully equipped kitchenette, washer/dryer, and the bathroom was huge with a fantastic waterfall shower head. We had a small issue with the washer that just a phone call to the hosts was made, and they were there in minutes to fix it. It is located within 5 miles to the beach and was just a short drive to great waterfront restaurants! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend The Boho Hideaway!

We stayed at little bear and had a fantastic time! The bed was very comfortable and the tent had everything you could need to cook, eat, and even had an AC unit! Very helpful in the July heat. We paddled around on the pond and enjoyed making s'mores on the campfire. Krystl met with us and allowed us to pet and feed the horses which were beautiful. Overall an amazing glamping experience. Would definitely recommend!

3 nights at The Fern Getaway

Very nice people who were generous enough to let us stay in the space. The outhouse and outdoor shower were awesome. You can really see how much work was put into creating this little piece of paradise in the woods. Close enough to the beach and other activities. It felt very private. Lots of spiders around but it was a great time
