The slide outs were close to the tree and some rigs are better than others. Had a fifth wheel on this site. It was less than 40ft and didn't fit as well as a 30ft but still was room for the tow truck and a small car.

10 nights at Big Creek RV Park of Saluda SC

We camped for 10 nights. Very quiet other than the birds singing. We enjoyed visiting with our children and grandchildren who all live in the area. Our host, James, was very nice and accommodating. Our campsite was a mix of sun and shade. The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing in Big Creek which borders part of the property. It was like camping in the middle of the woods, but close to the little town of Saluda. Thank you James. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. The park is in immaculate shape. As tent campers, It was wonderful having access to the shower house and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Pic on the right shows a 33ft pull type camper behind a crew-cab GMC with room to spare. I don't mind helping people back in. The slide outs were close to the tree and some rigs are better than others. Had a fifth wheel on this site. It was less than 40ft and didn't fit as well as a 30ft but still was room for the tow truck and a small car.

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

A great night stargazing last night, complete with a shooting star. Absolutely no light pollution from the site. Very low noise except frogs in the distance and light breeze in the trees. We’ve added this one to our favorites list and plan to come back. Great host on a working farm!

I've been doing a lot of gravel riding on my bicycle, and this site is perfect for it. Big Creek RV is conveniently located right next to the roads I've been riding. I can't wait to take a kayak next time since it's situated right by the water.

Experienced RV-er said this was their best site ever. I didn't have anymore full hook up sites available and told them they could try it. I was surprised to see this rig in place. Owner said it was no problem getting in or getting out. They loved it!
