A great and easy stay. Very level gravel pad with full hook up. He even had extra parts for us if we needed them. Rockstar! Super friendly hosts, and we loved waking up to the Rooster. Plenty of space to park our 28 ft TH, our 1500 Chevy, and set up a sitting area. Thank you for the hospitality!

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

2 nights at Pheonix meadows

Pheonix Meadows was the perfect setting for the peace and tranquility I needed this past week. I backed my truck camper into a a beautiful little nitch in the woods and settled in the the sounds of the forrest. The echoes of Barred owls in the evening and the exciting gobbles of the wild turkeys in the morning were welcoming sounds of the approaching spring..I was surprised by the bundle of wood provided by William and I enjoyed sitting by the fire each exening, so grateful for the privilege of being able to camp on this beautiful farm. I can't wait for the opportunity to return with my grandkids in the very near future.

We spent a week and had a delightful time! The spot is perfect - full hook ups and easy access. The area is quiet and peaceful. Steven is very helpful and friendly. You are close to Table Rock and Caesers Head State parks for wonderful hiking. We would definitely return.

It rained and our suv struggled up the muddy road to the site but we eventually made it there was lots of firewood and it was quite secluded we kayaked that was cool - he let us borrow two of them 5 stars

3 nights at Black Bear Farm

We had a very good stay at Jason's property. The sites are as described, and Jason is working on expanding his offerings there. We were able to have our dogs off leash, which was a huge plus for us. It's a 2 mile backroad bike ride to the Swamp Rabbit trailhead and easy access to all Travelers Rest has to offer. We would stay here again if in the area.

This RV site is on our property where we first lived in a mobile home. We love camping and thought what a great place for a quite retreat. So we made the site into a full hook up RV camp site. Beautiful location with a view of Table Rock located in the Historic Oolenoy Valley. Our property is located in Northern Pickens Co. of South Carolina. Plenty of trails, boating, biking in the area or just sit under your awning and enjoy the wildlife. Important please read! There is not evening shade in July and August, However, there are shady spots very close to the camp site that you can enjoy. Where your camper sits the Sun goes down at the front of the camper. It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway. Wildcat Outpost

Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog. We also have a small orchard and a garden. Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. For those familiar with the forest, our property is in the vicinity of Wildcat Technical, Wounded Road, and Chainbreaker trails. As private and wooded as our property is, we are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Clemson and less than 10 minutes from the small towns of Central and Six Mile. Lakes Hartwell and Keowee are also short drives. We currently offer a single campsite, which can accommodate several tents or a camper van. Our campsite features a composting toilet outhouse, and water is available from spigots at our house. Though fairly close to our house, the campsite has a very private feel due to being completely surrounded by a hardwood forest.

Haunted Barn Patio- Tent Site

Little did we know when we moved here, but this bit of land has a haunted history that we would love to share with you. This area is the home of the legend of the Pickens County Horror, made famous in a graphic novel penned by Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy. The original builder of our home was killed in our basement by his son. He was blown up and set on fire by a sabotaged gas stove and then left to burn to death in the backyard. There are strange noises and creatures that can be heard and sometimes seen at night. Neighbors are sometimes menaced by…something, which is why you’ll sometimes hear gunshots in the wee hours of the night. The Liberty Boom is often heard at random times during day and night. --- Have a stay in your tent or a hammock under our barn patio. We have a gravity shower and a camp toilet onsite. There's also a picnic table for your use. Guests have their own parking spaces. There are trails to use right at the end of the driveway, and we can even be talked into taking you out on a haunted night hike if you’re up to it. Don’t be alarmed if you see the neighborhood donkey and horses in the front yard. Situated very close to Clemson University, upstate lakes, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Sassafras Mountain, SC’s highpoint. This is a pull through site, with no backing up required! It is semi-private. It shares the same driveway as the main house. This property has electric and water. There is not septic or dumping. You will have access to entire yard that is on right side of the driveway. Please do not use yard on the left side of the driveway where the main house is. We love the outdoors so you may see us outside. Two dogs maximum. They must be kept on leash. Fenced dog area can be used as long as you clean up after your dog. Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended in the fenced yard, we want to keep them safe at all times! Quiet time after 9pm. This is a family friendly/low-key listing. Please be mindful that this is our home. No parties. Two horses are on the property! They are very friendly, however please DO NOT feed them. The front side of the fence is not electric, however all the other sides of the fence are so please be aware. There is a picnic table, fire pit and outdoor lights to enjoy! Bring the bikes for the kids to ride on the very large driveway!! The back woods are in the process of being cleared. From the site you will see 2 piles of trees that are in the process of drying out to be burned. If you are looking for picture perfect, please keep this in mind.
