Great place to stay! I had a bit of car trouble while I was on the property and the host were great and trying to help and allowing AAA to come on the property to help me out. The land is nice too and you hear sounds of church bells and roosters to help you wake up!

Quiet, small compound for no more than 6 campers. You are on top of a hill from which you can glimpse the lake. Walk down the well maintained path and onto the dock and the view of the lake opens up. I enjoyed bird watching and star gazing while I was there. I plan to return.

Was perfect for our overnight stay. Telly was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Great big sites with plenty space for our 33ft rig. He offered us water and firewood although we passed on both as we came prepared and it was so hot a fire sounded nicer in the colder months. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us!

Really pretty and quiet! We had a really good time even though it was the hottest it’s been this year so far. It was over 90° the whole time we were there so it was HOT but we still had an awesome time! Definitely recommend having a thermacell and bug spray as you ARE in the woods. There were a ton of flies but having chargeable fans definitely helped deter them away from us! We cooked over the fires had tons of laughs and such an awesome time! The road in is bumpy but we didn’t have any trouble getting in or out! The ground is full of quartz which is so pretty to look at but if you’re sleeping on the ground I would recommend a thick sleeping pad or cots! We had cots so it didn’t bother us at all!

Telly is a great host! He was very helpful and communicative about the location. He even brought us firewood so that we could enjoy the fire pit onsite. The land was flat so we had no problem getting in and settled quickly. The location feels very private and secluded while being close to all city amenities. The sandy soil, southern magnolias , & the oaks decorated in Spanish moss made me feel right at home. We will be returning!

Owners communicated very well, stopped through on Saturday morning and introduced himself. Was receptive to a suggestion I made for the campsite - they had brought in crush and run, but had a low point where my passenger side tires sat making it unlevel. He gave suggestions for things that were happening in town. The dock is brand new, site was clean. Visited the Lake Monticello Recreation area not far which was also nice. Can’t beat the price, would recommend, especially for a group of campers! Rent all 6 sites and enjoy the group fire pit together!

We loved this site on Lake Monticello. Very easy as far as directions and ability to pull into the campsite very smoothly with our 35 ft camper(we stayed in site 1)! We loved how calm and quiet the campground was, and it was definitely a plus being able to go down to the lake straight from the campsite! Our dog even got to enjoy the lake for a little bit as well! As this was our first time at this campground, definitely 10/10 recommend and will come back and camp again! And the owners are very nice and friendly!

Very well kept campground, peaceful part of the lake. Neighbors behind us were loud until 11:40 pm, right outside our bedroom window, but that wasn’t the host’s fault at all. Besides that, it was amazing! I’d definitely come back.

The location is perfect! It's beautiful and feels very secluded and "away from it all", while not actually being in the middle of nowhere. It's close enough to various stores and the highway should you need supplies or whatever, but on the property you can kinda forget the outside world for a little while. And the hosts are awesome! They are gracious and friendly. A+++ 10/10 I highly recommend.

Great stay in Columbia, SC. The host came out to greet us upon arrival and was very accommodating. It was quiet and safe and close to I 20 on/ off ramp. Fire ring and picnic table are included with the site.
The stay was easy to find, per the directions provided, and we highly recommend this location! Very pleasant, quick overnight location.

Telly was a wonderful host!
Even though he doesnt have water he was noce enought to offer to get me some from him home
Lovely area that felt private & safe, had a picnic table & a new fire pit & the site was very level & you could pull through if you want.
The location was close to everything you could want to go do. Plus everything was super close.
There are trains nearby that go around 11pm. Truthfully I loved hearing them.
I was able to use my generator through the night because it is an inverter & quiet.
Loved that he let me know that the RV park acrossed the main street offers a sewage dump.
Would highly recommend if you are coming into the area

This was a quick overnight stop for us, and we were very happy.
The host was kind and accommodating and was sure to come out and greet us and was eager to offer help with setup.
The property is beautiful with a gorgeous historical home on site, and a greenery lined privacy fence to the rear of the sites. We were able to find a flat space within the site and didn’t even need to leveling blocks. It is equipped with a large fire ring and a picnic table.
The property is nestled in the middle of a neighborhood, so it was quiet, felt safe, and was close to town even though it feels like it’s in the middle of the country side.

Quiet, convenient, friendly, accommodating to the fur babies... The trip was so nice, I stayed an extra night. Convenient to I-77, but secluded, great cell service, free fire wood, and a nice fire pit, too. Just an all around great spot to kick your boots off for a few nights.
