The campsite is absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, in nature but not too remote. Highly recommend it!

Finca Sajori is a magical place. We were able to set up under cover during rain and met the owner. He has big plans and I can tell this place is going to get better and better. What a lovely retreat with som many things to see and do nearby and nice cool weather for sleeping at night. Our dogs loved it too!

Weekend Trip to Hacienda Monte Rey near El Yunque

A hidden gem. Sleeping in the Tree Tent was an experience compared to none other. Before opening my eyes in the morning I had a sense of being a young green sprout surrounded by the hard outer seed. The welcome morning rain nourishing and softening that seed pod. Eventually emerging to see a lush rainforest all around, a beautiful tucked away river, birds and butterflies of many species flying about. I’m not sure their are many places on Earth like this left to discover.

This was a beautiful stay!! The tree tent was comfortable for me and the site had everything I needed. Gerardo gave me all the information I needed before the stay and was helpful while I was there. It was so peaceful to hear the sounds of the rivers and jungle. I would love to stay again and have already told my friends about this place! Esta fue una hermosa visita!! La caseta era cómoda para mí y el sitio tenía todo lo que necesitaba. Gerardo me dio toda la información antes de la visita y fue útil mientras estuve allí. Fue muy pacífica escuchar los sonidos del río y la selva. Me encantaría quedarme otra vez y ya le dije a mis amigos sobre este lugar.

Place had everything you could ask for. The night i went it was raining hard, but i stayed dry under the porch which had power and a bathroom. So 5 stars for the low cost

Nos encantó el lugar, muy amplio y cómodo. Caminamos a la una de las charcas y la pasamos super bien. Una vista del cielo muy hermosa, perfecto para desconectarse de la ciudad.

The amenities provided and the overall camping was great and clean, but the spot I was assigned to was very tiny, muddy, not well ventilated from the winds in the region. I wished the owner would have been telling me to go to another spot since the camping was quite empty at this time .

2 nights at Casa mango

Camping at Casa Mango was great! The doggo’s Lela and Ocean along with kitty Lenon patrolled the yard to keep the iguanas up in the trees. Plenty of open space to set up. There’s a massive empty field behind the property essentially giving you a back yard with no one in sight as far as the eye can see. Look forward to going back!

Amazing place near the river BUT be careful don't leave anything unattended : we got our two chairs and our burner stolen, we told the host and he just told us he could rent a barbecue for $20 ... We will have expected a more friendly response ...

3 nights at Hacienda Monte Rey near El Yunque

I had a perfect trip. Camp grounds were clean and quiet. Perfect place to start and end the day when taking local trips and just as good a place to spend a day on the grounds to recharge. Turtles, snails, birds, lizards, flowers and a beautiful river. Sleeping to the sounds of the forest was an unexpected bonus. Might be my new wake up alarm.

Buena experiencia con una vista brutal, muy bueno para desconectarse.

1 night at Finca Plato Indio

Esta Finca es un tesoro. Visitamos por una noche con nuestros cuatro hijes y pudimos disfrutar de la maravilla de un ver un cielo hermoso donde se pueden ver las estrellas mientras escuchábamos un montón de insectos y animales. Nos proveyeron lena así que pudimos hacer una fogata la cual nos calentó porque hacía un frío riquísimo. Al otro día despertamos temprano y realizamos la caminata hacia el río donde jugamos en el agua y escuchamos montones de pájaros. Les anfitriones nos atendieron con mucho entusiasmo y ternura. Son una familia encantadora y comprometida con el manejo responsable de nuestras tierras. Pudimos pasar una estadía donde nos desconectamos de la tecnología y disfrutamos de Puerto Rico de una manera muy linda, sencilla y especial. Nos llevamos muchas memorias lindas. Ya estamos planificando regresar.

Weekend Trip to Mountain Retreat

Acampar en El Mirador fue una experiencia que excedió nuestras expectativas. Andrés fue muy asertivo con todas sus recomendaciones. La carretera estaba en excelentes condiciones y el pin nos dirigió perfectamente. La localización de la propiedad es un sueño. Habíamos visto imágenes del lugar, pero la primera impresión nos dejó sin palabras. Adicional a la vista, absolutamente todo el lugar estaba impecablemente limpio. Las facilidades tenían disponible para cocinar al carbón y con hornillas de gas, un amplio fregadero y una nevera grande con congelador, lo cual nos brindó una comodidad adicional a la experiencia. Sobre el baño, además que la decoración es un sueño, cuenta con calentador de agua... todo lo que uno quiere luego de un día de aventuras y de experimentar el "friito" de las montañas de Orocovis. ¡Demás está decir que volveremos!

Beautiful views from the campsite. We shared the area with 3 other campers. Propane grill and cooking utensils were an added bonus. Easy access with 2WD and it was nice to park next to our tent.

Very welcoming, quick answer if you had any questions, area was clean and prepared for us. The views are amazing and the trails and hikes are a nice addition to the campsite.

The property has been in the Monge family since the late 1940's bought by Jose Monge Marquez. The campsite is located in a private property in the outskirts of El Yunque Rainforest in the town of Luquillo. The campsite areas and facilities are about 8 out of 43 acres of all the private property of rainforest, flowers, palm trees, and various fruit trees. The Sabana River, one of many that originate from El Yunque National Rainforest, the river goes through the property. All the campsites are close by the river with each having their own access and individual fire pits. The local attractions are: -El Yunque National Rainforest 15 minute drive up the mountain. -Las Paylas rockslides (2 minute drive & 8 minutes walking). -The Luquillo beaches which are La Pared, Playa Azul, Barneario de Luquillo. Los Kioskos de Luquillo, ect. (10 minutes drive). We look forward to hosting you!

Finca Bosque en Utuado en tremenda localización en el tope de una montaña. Area comoda para acampar, tiene baño, agua, toilet, lavamanos, area de cocinar y area de fogata. Pueden caminar al rio (15 minutos) dentro de la misma finca. Visitar otros rios cercanos a minutos. Hay supermercados y panaderias a 3 minutos. Se llega por carretera principal. No necesitan 4x4 el camino esta excelente.
